    RadioShack.com Purchase Return Policy
    Contact your local RadioShack store for the return policy of in-store purchases.

    At RadioShack.com we want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase. If you are not satisfied with a purchase, you may return most items within 30 days from date of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price, minus shipping, handling or other additional charges. See the “Exceptions” section for products covered by our 14 day return program.

    Here's what you need to know.


    Please ensure your purchase in good condition, in its original package, with its paperwork in order to avoid additional charges.

    1. Place the item securely in the original package.

    2. Enclose the original packing slip with the item.
      If you no longer have the packing slip, for a return-eligible product, include a copy of your Shipping Confirmation email or your online purchase receipt displayed during Checkout.

    Returning your item

    Items may be returned via the online process within 30 days or 14 days from date of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price. See the "Exceptions" section for products covered by our 14 day return program.

      • Visit our Returns Center to start your return. You will need access to the email address you used when placing the order. Select the items you would like to return, and follow the instructions to print a free shipping label. Please use the issued shipping label to ensure proper processing of your return.

      • Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to the warehouse.

      • We`ll process your return and issue you a credit in the same form of payment you used for the purchase.

      • Please allow 10-15 business days for the credit to appear on your billing statement. 

      • If you are returning a damaged item, or due to a problem with your order, please contact a Customer Care Representative for further assistance.

    Oversized items

    We cover shipping charges on returned Oversized Items only if the item arrives at the designated shipping address in a defective or damaged condition. We do not refund shipping charges on Oversized Items that are returned due to "buyer’s remorse."

    Damaged or defective items

    If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact a Customer Care Representative immediately.

    • Please supply the Representative with your order number, item number and tracking number from your original confirmation email. The Representative will also need your email address and phone number.

    • RadioShack.com will make every reasonable effort to assist you with your return. 

    • A defective item may be replaced within 30 days from date of purchase under RadioShack's Warranty Policy, or within the manufacturer's warranty period, whichever is longer. Contact a Customer Care Representative for assistance.


    Unfortunately, we can't accept returns for certain items. Items that are ineligible are noted online and in your Shopping Cart. Non-refundable items include:

    • Opened software or kits

    • Electronic media products that are not defective (CD-ROMs, thumb drives and memory cards, DVDs, Computer Games, Software, VHS Tapes)

    • Software and Games will be accepted as a return if the package is unopened, or as an exchange if the Software or Game is defective.

    Our 30-day return program applies to all products purchased from RadioShack.com except for the following categories of items which are eligible for refund for 14 days from the date of purchase:

    • No Contract Handsets

    • Tablets

    • Laptops

    • PCs

    • Digital Cameras

    • GPS

    • Radar Detectors

    Please note that RadioShack.com cannot take back returns of products purchased from RadioShack stores, and the RadioShack stores cannot take back returns of products purchased from RadioShack.com.

    International customers

    Please note that products purchased on RadioShack.com, through our call center, or through our retail locations in the United States cannot be returned for refund at any of our international locations.
