Our new RadioShack Non-Contact Infrared Forehead Thermometer is designed to provide quick and precise temperature readings. It provides a simple, fast way to accurately determine if a person's body temperature is in range of a fever without physical contact. Ideal for use in both home and business settings.

Simply point the IR thermometer at a person's forehead from 1.2" to 2" away, press the scan trigger, and receive a reading on the backlit display in just 1 second. The screen will illuminate red and a helpful beep will sound if the detected body temperature is above 100.4°F (38°C).

The included User's Guide is written to be both concise and easy to understand. When you're not using your thermometer, store it with the guide inside the included soft cloth pouch.

Introducing the RS Pro RS-8806S medical infrared (IR) digital thermometer gun, designed as a handheld device that can detect the body temperature by using a non-contact method of measurement.

This instrument can also measure surface temperature of objects using the Surface Temperature function and the non-invasive and contactless method of temperature measurement removes the issue of having to rely on using a physical contact on the person or surface to get a reading from it, making it ideal for use in environments like hospitals, other medical and healthcare environments and more.
