The RS Pro by Allied RS330 is a great value clamp meter designed to verify the presence of load current, voltage and resistance. Its small body and jaws fit beautifully into the hand. Features include a backlit display, data/max hold functions, auto power off (after approximately 15 minutes), and low battery indicator.
Battery-powered for maximum portability, this multifunction current clamp meter is ideal for on-the-go applications in almost any environment.
It is also supplied in a carry case to keep the clamp meter safe and secure during transit or when not being used.
Meter measures 8 inches long. Jaw size measures at 0.9" (23mm). Includes test leads, carrying case, 2 AAA batteries and user manual.

This current clamp meter is designed for current measurement in electrical testing, and combines a digital multimeter with a clamping current sensor. The nature of the clamp means that it can fit around a wire at any point to sense AC current and voltage. This has the advantage of allowing electricians to take a reading from a conductor without touching it, which is both more convenient and safer than other methods. As it is auto-ranging, the multimeter is faster and more user-friendly than manual multimeters where you have to know and preset the appropriate range before measuring. This current clamp is used for measuring high levels of current in service and maintenance applications. It can also be used when installing electrical equipment. |
