I have contacted Radio Shack multiple times about the failure to deliver, and your last email said "We'll get back to you." Sorry but it didn't work at first the battery were so loose in the compartment they go in, I had to fix in the springs to keep the batteries from rattling!! I was disappointed at first!!

Pull the trigger, wait a moment for it to boot up, point it at your head, pull the trigger again and BEEP a number on the screen tells you your temperature.
It's kind of creepy they shaped it like a gun though...

We are senior adults and use it maybe more than younger adults. It works okay and is easy to use. I have a laser device similar to you device which can read higher scales and can be used as a more concentrated beam but it is harder to use. Your device was about the same price and I am satisficed with it. I miss your store that used to be in Prattville, AL. and hope someday you will open a store nearby.

This thermometer is very easy to use, and saves a lot of time compared to older styles. I noticed that during my last visit to my doctor's office they were using exactly the same type to screen patients for possible COVID symptoms. I even used it to check the temperature of my telescope, which is kept in my basement, to determine if I had to take it outside to cool down to reach the air temperature.

The Berrcom infrared non-contact thermometer was everything I could have wanted. Set up and use of the product was intuitive as it only required the insertion of two AA batteries, aiming at wrist, face, or head, and a press of the trigger. Not only was the temperature readout fast and accurate but consistent. It was well worth the purchase price and proved an ideal replacement for my old glass fever thermometer.

I have a professional IR temperature gun which works fine for checking temperature of car motors and electric motors, but not too well for human temperature!
These guns from Radio Shack do exactly what they're sold for, they accurately measure human body temperature. That is a pretty important feature in these current times.

This is basically only for human body temperature. I like the fact that it uses common batteries, and that it is sealed so that I can wipe down the whole thing with sanitizing wipes. I liked it so much, I purchased three more: one for each floor here at home, one at work, and one for prechecks at Scouting activities. I try to check my temperature twice a day, and have never had an issue with the units. Once it did flag a high temp after I came in from doing work outside ... I'm very happy with the units, and the temperature readings are more consistent than my general purpose infrared thermometer. I would buy more if I needed them.

The non-contact forehead thermometer gun works well and was within 0.2 degrees F of the carefully calibrated guns we use at work. I didn't enter a temperature offset on mine because 0.2 F degrees is not anything to be concerned about.
It is easier to use than an oral thermometer and works much better with my morning routine, taking only a couple of seconds to get a reading on my forehead.

Ordered this unit for daily temperature checks during this unprecedented pandemic. Its easy to set up and I verified it is very close to the thermometers used in the mouth and takes a simple click to use. It has the added benefit of having a room and surface setting as well. We have one upstairs for health reasons and one in my shop for surface readings of heating units. For the price, you really can’t beat them for connivence and peace of mind. Shipping was fairly quick and painless.
