this game is pointless
i thought i was buying DDR where you can actually play it normally, but no. the game mats dont plug into the tv so your just watching a screen pretending your actually playing and competing. your friends have to stand back and judge who won that round. how pointless is that.
the box seemed to say that it was a normal game, but except for some small print that i noticed when i was already half way home that said that the mats dont connect withe the game. Some other people might think this is fun, if you like pointless things but i dont.

The DVD version is just for fun, there is obviousy no automatic scoring. Our grandkids had a blast with it; teens and adults joined in too. It comes with two mats but any number can play since the mats are not necessary... dance steps are shown on the screen. Good exercise and addictive fum for all ages.

This shouldn't get a star at all! This isn't really DDR, its just a fake!!! There is an annoying girl named Roxie and she is the worst actor ever.
The mats don't even connect to the TV, so you can't REALLY play the game. The arrows just come up perfect everytime, even if you aren't playing at all!!!

This isn't DDR
By C.Verified Reviewer from Macungie, PA on 8/23/2007
Pros:
Attractive Design
Cons:
Boring, Flimsy, Low Quality
Best Uses:
Young Children
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This isn't DDR. The 'dance mats' it supposedly comes with are actually two vinyl little pads that don't connect to the TV in any way. So you can dance to your hearts content, but nothing will happen. Roxee is annoying with her punk clothes, british accent, and high pitched voice. I wouldn't suggest buying this game.

By Richard S from Huntington, WV on 1/13/2007

If you think you are actually playing the game, you are sorely mistaken. The dance pad does not actually interact with the TV. You can dance to your heart's content or you can just watch the arrows score themselves from the comfort of your couch. The game is cheap, does not truly function as DDR, and is no fun.
