I always USE IT INDOORS like it suggested me when the xmods first came out. The car runs smooth and all but the body is heavier than on my G35 so even with the stage 2 motor is goes slow-er and uses more energy. Finally it's best to use it indoors so rocks and whatever don't get stuck in the knuckles or up under the body. To everyone with xmods i leave you with this... Don't use it on carpet! unless you have a truck you're fine. the fuzz and stuff gets caught in the knuckles and everywhere else.

this thing is really tough when i was driving it outside on my drive way it got stuck sometimes in the grass and my little sister would run and get it and throw it back on the drive way and it didnt hurt the body or the performance at all

Our nephew has been playing with his XMODS for a few years now and still loves them. Our son received one for his birthday and now they are outside everyday playing with them. My daughter is getting one today so that she can join in on the fun. It's great to find something that all ages and genders can enjoy together.

They're low profile so they will get scratches on them but they are sturdy for outdoor play. The customization is a very nice option allowing the kids (or parents) to improve the looks and performance.

The only downside to the XMODS are their battery consumption. Definitely invest in good quality rechargeable batteries (about three sets) so that the fun may continue. Our son exhausted the Energizer batteries we gave him the very same day.

I USE IT ON A PAVED PARKING LOT AT MY DADS SHOP AND I RUN THE CRUD OUT OF IT, BUT IF YOU RUN OVER A ROCK GOING FULL SPEED, IT IS ALL OVER FOR THE STEERING KNUCKLES. THEY ARE DESIGNED VERY POORLY. IF YOU BUY A XMOD, DO LIKE I DID AND BUY SOME ALLOY FRONT STEERING KNUCKLES, THEN YOU CAN RUN OVER ANYTHING YOU WANT.

I used my Xmods Barricade for drifting. The screws are a bit hard to remove and require a better screwdriver such as a #0 Philips screwdriver, a small, flat head screwdriver, or one that comes from the Xmods tool kit. The worst problem is that while in creation, the knuckles and motor cradle tend to crack and break much easier than older Xmods Evolutions. Thankfully there are spare parts in the boxes now but there should be more. But, the Xmods is still working just fine except for a replaced motor cradle and a cracked part. The best parts are the much reduced wheel wobble and quieter running sound.

took it back to the store and they said "did you put the antenna in the car?"

the car just didnt work

i had some upgrades for it but tried my new motor and it didnt work

this car is great. i would rercomend it to first time buyers. I mean wow fast good handling affordable if you are a kid get this thing!!!!!it if you hit it against the wall very hard it might get scratched up. I use it to drift in my house and on carpet. IT IS AWSOME A MUST BUY!!!!!

This car looks cool but when I took it home and drove it around it was just like my Xmods Evo Trucks-the wheels are wobbly if you don't buy ball bearings for them. Also on mine the front right axle broke within minutes!!! It was so brittle.
Another thing is this car is only meant to be driven on smooth surfaces as the chassis is almost 1mm to the ground...even on carpet it would get stuck.

I like the way its fast. But I've had to purchase two Xmods cause the first one broke the front axle screw is missing and it won't turn properly. Then my second one had the same problem. the axle molding isn't completed. Anyone else having this problem?

This is so great it beats my gen 1 civic in a drag race all the time and thats with the stock motor.My civic has a stage 2 drifting and drag motor i put the drag motor in it and race the mustang with its stock motor and it still smokes the civic.I timed the mustang to go from the end of my street to the other end and it takes 12.4 second when my civic takes24.6 seconds.

its a great product, almost everything is upgradeable you can find the parts in radio shack or online, these are incredible fast if upgraded, i just hit 30mph with mine. i would strongly recommend this product.

these cars are awesome and work great. they are durable ex. i drove mine off a table without the body on as soon as i bought the thing. all the upgrades are fun to add and help performance but they can be hard to find. the only con is the batterys die very quickly.

I bought this for my 12 YO son for Christmas. He had several days of having a great time with it, but it was difficult to figure out how to put in the batteries and how to install the antenna, many of the screws were very difficult to get out, then found out we didnt need to take some of them out!! The directions were not clear. But we finally got it together and it worked great. Surprisingly durable and fast, he crashed it into his nephew's RC toys with no damage. Once he started messing with the upgrades it all went downhill. Parts are missing, the steering doesnt work right any more. And we are now trying to get it back the way it was in the beginning without a lot of success. Way too much frustration for a toy.

i got this for my 18th birthday and it rox my sox. me being a decepticon an all. it runs great. just one thing you should know. getting the batteries in for the first time is a bit tricky. other than that it is a must buy for any TF fan out there. amazingly mine did survive a four foot drop from a counter to a a tiled floor. but i dont suggest you to try it your selfs. overall, the best thing close enough to be driving the real BARRICADE.

I love mustangs, this Saleen is great around pets and will entertain you 24 7. This car is great and fast for races and it is perfect for the whole family to use. But the batteries in the car die fast so you have to keep changing them. You should get the battery charger so you car recharge the dead batteries.

This thing is kool!!! thay last forever mine jumped off a the 2nd foor of my house and landed on my drive way perfectly with this thing. I love thing that can take my abuse cause im the hardest on my cars i have a mustang thats lasted 1 year of hard racing 2 rebuilds of the chassy and i still have the same stage two motor in it that i had from a year ago. so buy this thing its the best thing to buy and its cheap$$$

the detail is spectacular, nearly every visual aspect of the car is replicated. its extremely fast, and the analog steering and throttle are excellent features. the body and finish will take a beating with even little use. have had difficulty locating upgrades such as the steel bearings. many of the screws had already been stripped out during manufacture

I bought it and immedietly looked at the chassis and saw 4 broken parts on it. I ignored it and later that day i was using it and the whole rear end broke in 2 pieces. I dont like this product and i am not buying another

I use this for racing friends and just for fun. Car is well built and runs great. The upgrade packs make it quick, but I would suggest getting a 40,000RPM motor and the chips for it with the AWD and racing suspension kits for it if you plan on doing any racing.

This is terrible it can go fast but breaks all the time my cousin is trying to fix it for the fourth time ,gears strip easily but like normally the chevy beats the ford.

One issure

Only problem i've seen so far is that you can use the head and taillights and the police lights at the same time. When you try the bar lights become WAY too dim, you can't see them unless you look really close. Other than that, excellent looking xmod, skip the weapons and do some 180s.

This toy is awesome! It's like a transformers toy, r/c car, police car, and a sports car all in one, sort of. You can even upgrade it with the weapons and light kit. This car is also very very fast. And also a pretty strong car.

Excellent way to attract new fans with the TRANSFORMERS brand. Great RC-car for any level. Buy for the car, a Saleen Mustang and the first XMods police car. Or buy it for movie brand and stand out with customizable weapons and lights. Take a look at the picture with the weapons. If you don't like the way it looks don't get it. Remember the kit is optional. Either way, its an excellent XMod car.

Overall the perfect RC car from a great movie and brand!

xmods have done a great job with detailing this car.i have one of my own. they even have the decepticon motto "to punish and enslave..." written just the way it is in the movie.i also bought the lights and weapons upgrade.when you accelerate the lights dim alittle but thats ok

Wow! what an improvement in the xmods lineup! The previous "wheel slop" issues have been completely resolved, and it seems much quieter and faster. A great car for all Xmods RC Fans!!!
