I have played with this for a few hours. A couple of pointers: it is very difficult to fly indoors - just not enough space. I tried it outside but in the sunlight, it didn't work. In dusk, it works great. It takes a little getting used to but once you do, it really flies great. Remember the thrust controls altitude- you can get it up about 20 feet above you and cut the thrust and let it glide down. Also the rudder does steer it but the control is sluggish. Once you understand that, you can control. It seems like it is pretty durable (at least durable enough).

Just got the plane for Christmas. I can't really fly it that well yet, but it's a blast learning. I've also been restricted to smaller indoor spaces and can only imagine it in a larger room. As an engineer, I am really impressed with how light, yet functional they were able to make it. The only negative so far is that I've already managed to bust the styrofoam frame, but was able to superglue it back together. For [$], it's provided more then its value in entertainment

Fun to use, but need a lot of space to operate. Indoor ok for larger homes with bonus room or 3 car garage.

Comments about Megatech® Megatech® Avion™ BiPlane:

Awesome on very calm days outside (extremely calm). Would be pretty tricky flying it indoors but it would be a blast in a basketball court or warehouse. I fly it in parking lot at work when the flag is hanging straight down. First day of ownership I burned a 1 inch hole in the lower wing. Put a little scotch tape over each side and she flies good as new. Becareful with charging as its lipo battery is finacky and for some reason mine no longer charges. I may have run the battery to low on a 20+ min flight and I am not sure she will recover. I/R controller (the only shabby part of this package) needs to be line of sight to bottom of the plane which can be a problem when flying low or around certain turns. I suggest flying in the largest area possible at first and if you want a real indoor flying toy go for the orginal Mosquito heli also from radio shack. The mosquito (not so much the 4x4) is a blast indoors (not so much out). PS: Avion IO is available for almost double the loot but it appears to be true radio controlled and not shabby I/R. Radio Shack RC helis and planes For the Win! Mosquito for life!

This is an amazing plane. I got mine at a hobby shop but I love it, better than any Air Hogs and its proportional too. I have flown many RC planes and helis and this is the best plane of them all.
