The box sais 8 years and up i say 6 and up because my brother is 5 years old and flies it great with minor issues but for me works perfect and I actually put lego landing gear on it and it works 100% better can take off and land on the ground.

Good purchase for the price. I've smashed it into trees, fences, & the ground and not a mark on it. Somewhat long charge time is rewarded with good flight time.

Flight surfaces appeared to be misformed from the factory. After multiple test flights to get the tail surfaces reformed correctly, the plane flys OK. It is very sensitive to winds of any kind. Would be more enjoyable in an indoor foot ball field or in a no wind day. Fun for the money though.

I thought it was gonna be fun.I had always wanted
an R/C plane.Turns out all it did was come close to doing a loop twice and then it started spiraling down every time I used it. I tried recharging it. It didn't work!

This is a bad plane, I purchased this plane as a replacement to another plane bought at radioshack for a present for my brother. It looked ok at the beginning. We let it charge fully, hopeing that this plane would be worth it, and we were so dissapointed. the engines seemed powerful at first but at first, we coulden't get it in the air. We finnaly did and the #2 left engine kept on stalling in midair, it crashed on top of a neigbors roof. We got the engine fixed and then the plane's reciever went bad. the engines kept on going even tf we wern't pressing on the throttle. Returned to the store.

This airplane is wonderful. It was very easy to use and well made. It does not break when the children hit the floor and walls.

My child had another airplane first that was not a Megatech and it broke the first time they used it. This one is well made and holds up with use.

Have to amend. This is an AWESOME plane....when you can get it to charge. Bought another, took out of box, charged, flew it, waited for batt to cool, and couldn't get it to charge for longer than 2 minutes. Exchanged for a new one. Charged, flew it, loved it, tried charging again today...same thing. Won't charge fully.

Is it me?

Flew it right out of the box with just a little trouble. After a bit of flying it becam easy to manuever. I wish there was landing gear for the purpose of taking off from the ground. But without it, it flys and lands easily so I am overall happy. I have not acheived a roll yet but have done all of the other tricks. GOOD BUY!!!

Very fun item. I bought it for my 12 year old son. He has so much fun flying it. He crashed it a few times and it's still solid. Very durable. He mastered it quickly and is very happy with it.

After much research and watching dozens of videos of inexpensive RC models flying around, I finally chose the Megatech Interceptor as my first RC airplane. I'm glad I did! Every time I fly it I just smile, because, it is so easy to fly the Megatech Interceptor. The plane held up well to several crashes within the first few minutes as I taught myself how to fly it. The Interceptor really does nice loops, stalls, and spirals. But, so far, I have not figured out how to make it do a roll. I have flown it inside a large building, and outside with equal success. The lipo battery gives me about 20 minutes flight time. Charging time takes from 10 to 30 minutes depending on how fresh my remote control batteries are. In my opinion, the Megatech Interceptor is definitely the best RC airplane in its price range!

This thing is great! It responds really well, has pretty good range, and has LIGHTS. This is important to me because the only time it isn't windy here in SF is at night. Especially cuz this thing is a stunt plane, any wind at all will blow it away and have it looping like crazy. Mine takes about 45 to charge...prolly a slightly defective charger unit, but it's ok. Folks, run this thing when there's no wind. Night is ideal...lit plane and all! To not loop out, use low throttle. Takes some control, indeed.

I bought this for my 8 year old who wanted a jet. He flew the spin master stuff in the past and this Jet was the only one that seemed like a winner.

The product lasted 2 short flights!!! Both propellers and the metal shafts they were attached to came apart after the second landing. I could not believe the motor just fell apart. I was not able to repair the unit.

Tech support at the company that makes the silly thing was no help. They told me that the issue was a common problem, but I still had to send it in to make sure I did not crash it. Such a rude woman. Did not get her name. I called back the next day and got some guy and he told me to send it in. He was nicer then the person the day before.

I ended up mailing it in for a refund. The product stated durable, but I assume it was meant to last more then 5 minutes of flight. Also my son could not get the thing to fly straight. It kept turning and looping and was difficult to fly. My son should stick with the spin master stuff that he has been flying successfully. I would recommend the competition in this case.

This Ac Aircraft is the best by far its easy to use, there is no assembly required ready to go out the box. of course like all new toys its take time to get used to the controls.
But all in all its a good price for this aircraft.

Amazingly fun for the price! This is the first airborne RC product I have ever owned and it works great. It is very light so it takes a little to get used to flying it and not forcing it into vertical stalls. Also, wind will move this thing into the stratosphere so make sure you fly it in and open area. Beyond that it responds well and works great!

P.S. Beware that when the charge goes down (around 10-15min flight time) the plane will be unresponsive and you will lose turning control!
