I like this one, Interactive Toys do a good job with this one... I know a lot of people complain on how hard is to fly it but isn't as hard as it looks if you concentrate and practice the basics (hovering on one area, going up and down nicely) before thinking to fly it arround the room.
I have crash a couple of times my 4x4 and nothing is broken at this point, the LiPo battery last more than 5 minutes (arround 7 to 9 per charge), I haven not experienced any interference with the control (I have a 49mhz one)... I'm really pleased with this heli!

I flew this helicopter at the store and I must say, if you don't like this helo you shouldnt be flying RC's. It is so easy to control. If you read how to fly this thing, you will have it in the air in no time. By far this is the most stable Helo i have flown. The only downside is it doesnt go forward very fast which can be helped with a slight weight adjustment.

One should be careful to find out more specs on these helicopters. This particular one will not fly at 7200 ft, which is the altitude where I live. In fact, Wikipedia notes that the maximum altitude is 4000 ft. This fact will only affect a few of you readers, but it is worth noting. At 7200 feet all it does is climb to about 1 foot and then spin, despite "trimming" from the R/C.

I have never had an R/C heli before, but I think its great. Yes the rotors sometimes break, but look at the thing its light weight and made from thin plastic so it doesn't get weighed down. I've hit walls, ceilling fans, xmas tree!! and still have parts from the replacement set they give you. It's NOT a toy!! It takes practice but once you get the hang of it, it's awsome.... just wish it came with a another battery and a means of charging it so you can have unlimited fly time. For the people complianing about the battery issue, buy the plug in adaptor for the charger.

Product is very flimsy and cheaply made. every flight the back rotor blades fall off. 2nd flight the main rotor breaks. For[$]this thing is sad. Only flies 5 minutes if that and needs to be charged. Spend your money on something else people.

You don't have to buy batteries, it has a 9 volt charger port. A very good plus is the trim is on the controller and works like a champ. The control is not the best but with practice it can be fun also don't by into the 7min flight time more like 4 min. Best price to pay is about [$] or just buy a havoc heli.
Comments about Interactive Toy Concepts Interactive Toy Concepts Micro Mosquito 4x4 RC Helicopter:
The best thing about this product is the trim is on the controller. The Blades are protected by a ring that will protect it from hitting edges, Control really is poor if you had a airhog before your not going to like this at all.
It wont fly around the room and you don't need 6 C batteries
it has a charge port that you wont know about until you open the package. Does fly go up and down left to right alittle, forward and backward about 2 inches at best. The airhog will tear up faster but a better buy.

You know..I've been reading these reviews...and i have to say..it really shocks me...I LOVE this product..i was going to buy an expensive indoor r/c heli (about $130) i thought about this one. I'm glad that i bought it. i like the way it looks. its really neat. the control, i have to admit, take some time to get use to. but I've been getting better...
all these people that do not like this product, should really give it a chance. there IS replacement blades as some people point out. also..it says in the Manual. READ FIRST BEFORE REMOVING PRODUCT! that is what the manual is for. geez...this is a great toy to play with. i love chasing my 4 big dogs with it..=)
well...im done...and thank you Interactive Toy for coming out with the best indoor helicopter i have bought...=)

NOT RECCOMENDED FOR BEGGINERS!!!! get the micro misquito 3.0 first that is an intermediate flyer; the 4x4 is expert and is a 4 channel. The 4x4 is to hard to fly if you haven't flown a intermediate before. I think it's is great but... Batteries aren't included; you'll have to buy one 9 volt battery and 6 c's. The 6 c's are the only con but they make it worth it 10 times over...
I have the micro misquito and the micro misquito 4x4 they both fly great and work awesome!!!!! good luck flying and dont break anything!!! lol thats why they have replacement kits

Great toy. It definetly takes alot of practice but once you master it, it's great.
con-flight time is very short.

It is a craft that needs learning to use. I would like to see the batteries last longer since as they go down the change in rotor speed starts the thing to spin which causes you to constantly adjust the rear rotor speed to compensate. I tour the house with it but I am still learning control. For the money it is pretty good. Just relax and learn.

If one doesn't have experience flying this type of model, IT IS NOT A TOY, and a LOADS of patience I can see them not liking the experience. One has to crawl before one can run and trust me this baby runs. It is fairly tough too though. I have hit the sides of glass table top's corners, a non-running ceiling fan, cabinets TV's and one of my cats even batted it out of the sky. The only result was that one of the tail rotors came off: I put it back on and I was off flying into things again right away. This thing isn't easy to fly at all, but if one tries to learn it slowly I believe it will be an absolute blast. I have had no experience with RC aero devices at all, but I am getting better every time I fly it. Adding super glue and tape or anything else to an oblect like this is going to change it's center of gravity and hence its performance everytime. It is not a tank, but I think its pretty tough all the same. I would suggest that some of the other reviewers that gave this baby a bad review to try again in a large open room and just start by learning to hover and then move on. If I can fly this thing, especially with a room full of attack cats, then anyone with some patients can too. As I am discovering, the effort is quite rewarding. Next week I plan on biting the cat with my mosquito. Ha Ha Ha.

The 4x4 is much heavier then the original Mosquito (should have given exact weight but left scale at home) so if/when she falls from the air it does more damage to itself the the original. Rather difficult to control also compared to original. Strafing side to side practically impossible. Hard plastic looks good but it seems to add to much weight. Tail rotors are almost gauranteed to break right where they attatch to the tailboom. Original Mosquito is so much better I want another one for when mine is charging.

I went with my husband to buy this as an early Christmas present. He had two Havocs and knows how to fly RC helis. So, we decided to spend a bit more, even bought the rotor kit.
So... let's start with the excessive packaging and tape. This makes it immensely difficult to remove form the package. Additionally, the tape was even on the rotors, and wouldn't you know, removing the heli from the packaging broke one of the round rotors.
So, we replaced it and launched the thing after charging. The thing barely crashes, and guess what? The rear rotor breaks. He makes a fix with super glue. Another launch and the rear breaks again, with wire hanging. This part of the aircraft is no longer "healthy."
My husband continues to repair and replace rotors. Please keep in mind, he is not flying this thing very fast or into numerous objects such as a ceiling fan or our dogs.
Finally, he takes what will be the heli's final launch.... The tail rotors are no longer working properly due to the constant repairs and as a result another crash occurs. Again, not a massive crash, a rather soft one. But this fragile machine can't take it. The rod that holds the main rotors snaps along with its wires. Super glue and his friends tape cannot fix this.
So after having this at home for 5 hours we are out 120 bucks (we bought the extra rotor kit and power plug) and I have a really sad husband.

If you have experience with RC helis, this
is a blast. User should have knowledge
of coaxial helis and other indoor RC
aircraft before buying or you will get
frustrated.

...before I finally broke the rotor blades. And I've seen replacements at Radio Shack. I just haven't picked up a set yet. My experience is very different than the other reviewer's. I tried those other single rotor copters... They're great if you're lucky enough to get a good one & then add a bit of weight to the nose. I bought & returned 3... I suppose I was not lucky. This one is controllable. I'm gonna get new blades and "play" with the cat!

the rotors will break and that's it, you will never get replacements
