I recently purchased this laptop for college at the local radioshack, and let me tell you, it is the best bang for the buck! It does everything from word processing to math. I loaded adobe photoshop onto it, and it works flawlessly. It also works great when hooked up to my 72'' 7000p HDtv for movies.
The only complaint I had, was it does not include a blueray dvd burner (I plan to add one to it soon).
I reccomend this laptop to every other student who doesnt want to waste their time and money on other laptops that cant do half the things this one can.
Bravo radioshack. Bravo.
I bought two of these for my 3 and 5 yr olds for a long car drive. Great investment! My 5 yr old navigates it very well and enjoys the games. My 3 yr old (almost 4) struggles some with the navigation and sometimes get stuck in Spanish mode. I wouldn't recommend it for children younger than 4 unless like me you have to buy 2 of everything but for the price it's still worth it. These were worth a couple of hours of peace on a very long ride! And no extra pieces or cords!
Tip: Give it to them a couple of weeks in advance though to let them learn to navigate through the menus which can be tough or you will spend the trip in the backseat. I don't much like that you have to select language each time but they get used to it and it would be great for multi-lingual practice.
Hi, I am a teacher from Puerto Rico. I just want to tell you that I use this product in my classroom. I told my student's parents to do a fund raise activity to buy 24 Vtech Totes & Go Laptops for Christmas 2007.I use them to rainforce math, spanish and English skills. If you have a personal that speaks and reads spanish you may acces to my blog page to see my students working with that laptops. [@]
