It took me a while to find a forum online that described how to get this setup, it is actually meant as a forced connect, but there is nothing about this in the package, instructions. Radioshack has really got some poor quality stuff. I am sad that they would even let this, throwaway, nothing, two bit piece of rubble onto their shelves. Shame on you Radioshack.

plugged it in..followed the ''instructions''
nothing, nada, zip.
controller is good if you want a blinking red light

I read the other reviews and I am a little sad about them. This is a very very cheap controller. A good indication of the lack of quality is mostly in the instructions. The way they tell you to connect to the PC are horribly incorrect and give the buyer added stress. It has been explained the proper way to connect it in previous reviews. Other than that, well, it does work pretty decently. It's good enough. They just need to rewrite the instructions.

This porductworks on ps3 and yes pc.Iwas a skeptic read all the reviews yet bought it cause it was a cheap ps3 remote.Works just as good as regular sony remote at half the price amesone([$] towards a new game)I tried it on my computer thinking its not gonna work but i was amazed just turn on the remote with the ps3 button to connect.played halo and no wires dont have to go close to the computer.thank you and keep on gaming

i am going to use this controller for a robot and i have not connected the robot but the controller works fine. some people could not get the controller conected to a pc because the directions are wrong. what you do is you connect the reciever to a usb port then you press the connect button on it. next you turn on the controller and press the ps button, then hold down the seleect and left anolog stick buttons at the samme time for three seconds.oh, and don't forget to ad batteries. i gave this controller three stars because it is low quality.good luck.

Guy at store assured me that it would work fine with my pc. It will not even connect. The product support is lame. Save your money, go to Best Buy

Yeah seen this in the store thought this would be a great buy for so I could add a PS3 controller and have a wireless PC controller all in one. It doesn't work for sure for the pc. I didn't try it on the PS3 but if it doesn't do what it says then who cares. I have red the you cane use your PS3 controllers on your pc just have to download a file to get it setup. I going that route and getting my mney back. I tried it on my XP Home/Pro and Vista PC's and all failed to load.

Im assuming this is only meant for the PS3 since it doesnt work on computers. The PC instructions are 2 steps long. 1. plug the receiver into computer. 2. turn on controller and magically it works? Nope...the light blinks forever on the controller and receiver, never connecting.

This does not work under XP. Gigaware's website is also a joke - the "support" link from their front page leads to a 404 (doesn't exist). Their "downloads" section only includes a most-likely-spyware application, disguised as "desktop search".

I tried using the controller on 3 different pcs. I simply followed the instructions and plugged in the receiver and then turned on the controller. The receiver doesn't' recognize the controller, so it blinks forever. Under 2 vista pcs it installs some driver automatically and it recognizes it as a controller but it isn't connected. On XP it doesn't even install a driver.[...]
