this is a whole lot better than running a 50ft or 100ft ethernet cord through your house. it gets all tangled up and it looks bad running through room to room. i would not recomend any other wireless device for your xbox or you will suffer with a big or little lag. if this wireless adapter doesn't work on your 360 then i would recomend checking your usb ports or the light on your adapter. their is no reason why it shouldn't work three times in a row.
tip from the top: i would recomend a linksys or a d-link router to broadcast your wireless network.
I admit this item maybe be a bit overpriced but overall it is truly worth it. Most people use an Ethernet cord to connect to Xbox Live, I reccomend that because it is cheaper. This adapter works well in all environments when like in my situation i dont have an ethernet cord, but a Wireless-G signal. Dont listen to others this adapter is good, people just say its bad because of the price.
this worked right out the package. for all the reviews saying that it didnt work; you should know how networking, works before you start. the radioshack unit was $10 cheaper than the local game store too.

I bought this on sale at a local Radio Shack but the console would not recognize it. We took it to a friend's system and the one from Radio Shack was not recognized on his system either, but his worked on mine. Took it back [...] and exchanged it. Same thing. After the third time, we bought one from [...] and it worked instantly.
