I bought this charger yesterday as recommended by Lionel for a train set I got for my grandson. Well, it has been charging twelve hours and never shut off so i tested the battery and it is fully charged but the charger will not shut off. Returuning after I fond out it says the battery should be recharged before 2007!!! It is now December,2008

I use this in a Lionel train set that uses this type of battery. I let it charge overnight and it runs like crazy all day! A+ product

This was a great battery! I am currently using it in this rc hover craft. It works for about 30 minutes for each charge. This is worth the money.

this is a great battery although a bit pricey. lasts over 30mins. on the 1:12 viper. but if you have a universal fast charger you should upgrade to the 1600mAh battery and lose the 5hr. charger
