No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The battery does not fit properly in my V3, if you notice the OEM battery has a plastic cover that makes the battery unit slightly larger. This replacement does not have that plastic cover/sleeve so it tends to wiggle in my phone. Had to use simple pieces of tape to increase the "size" to make the battery fit snug in the battery compartment. Not as good as the OEM battery, but it is cheap. So if you are willing to "make" it work, it may be a good buy. Note other reviewers complained about it not charging properly. This is may be due to the battery not fitting properly in the phone.

I got this a couple of days ago and it charged up no problem, and fit is correct. Used it to talk a couple of times and it has plenty of power. It also was the best price I could find.

Battery loses its charge quickly even though the phone is only in standby mode. I threw it out and bought a Motorola replacement.

 
Worthless

Bought two online for two Razr V3 phones and neither battery will even charge. Initially shows Charging icon on the phone, but when left overnight to charge, just stops. Total [*]Re-packed and returned. What a pain.
