This battery rocks!

Great length talk times! Original battery for this is 600mAh and most sell 700mAh or even 800mAh, but to find one for 1200mAh.... YEAY!!!

Most people screw their NiCad/NICd batteries up by keeping their portable handset phone on the receiver OR by putting it on the receiver too often. These batteries are NiCd and only charge up around 1000 times, afterwards they die out, and they die out whether they are charged fully or partially... a charge cycle is a charge cycle is a charge cycle.

Plus NiCd batteries develope what is called memory effect when you subject them to partial charges.

I read the complaints about people buying these batteries and these batteries not lasting very long and I know for a fact that battery lifetimes strictly reflect the owners properly using them.

Run the batteries down properly by paying attention to the battery charge level on your displays, don't just keep placing the portable back on the receiver/charger everytime you are finished with a call... this WILL use up your charge cycles in a hurry. Run your batteries down to the lower level on your charge displays AND every once in a while run the battery totally out of power... doing these two things will get you maximum performance out of ANY NiCd and NiMh battery.

The similar battery which is NiCad 3.6VDC and only 700mAh does not do this battery justice. The original Panasonic battery did not hold a charge nearly as long as this one, and the one I had before lasted 2.5 years now before it started to show signs of less power under full charge.
I am getting this replacement again, for the previous is almost ready to quit, but still holding on!! Great product!

A year and a half is about how long any cordless battery will last. I think this battery works fine for what I need it to do.

Going on my 3rd set of batteries in less than 3 years. Time for a new phone setup, these batteries don't last very long. Check your phones before you buy them to make sure this battery is not the one they use. You'll save more going with a more dependable battery model.

Pros:

The life of this battery did not last very long. I purchased it about a year and a half ago and already need to replace it, as it doesn't hold a charge anymore.
