No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The batteries had good, instant, power, however one of the four batteries installed in my camera (flash unit) leaked acid onto the contacts. Will need to replace flash unit....Batteries were out of the 90 day warranty by 30 days. Other battery manufacturers have an extended warrant....

It is way spendy but the quality is really good. If you need a battery this size get this one. Its fast and reliable.

For what I build those are the perfect example of the disposable power source. However they should also be available in the "anything over two per package" availability.
