I wish I had something good to say about these batteries, as Radio Shack USED TO have great batteries. They were even rated highest by your favorite consumer magazine.
No longer. These batteries didn't last as long as some knock-offs I got at the dollar store, for the same applications (PC mouse and travel clock).
Very sad day indeed for me, when I can't depend on the Shack for my battery needs.
Oh yeah...they were relatively expensive too.
These batteries have a long life. I used them in my portable CD player and they outlast the Duracell batteries I usually buy.
Great vaule and high quality.
You will be taking a chance with your portable electronics with these batteries. They leaked and ruined my Canon speedlite when they leaked inside. The store manager said that the batteries sould be removed when not in use. It just so happened that the batteries that I still have in an unopened package have also leaked, even though they have been stored in a cool cabinet that is dry.
These batteries are better than many, especially those from some very large retailers I can't name. I wouldn't use these in my digital camera unless I had to (I prefer Lithium batteries for that high-drain use); but for everyday use around the house, these work quite well.
