I cut this up to power a project I built...cheaper than building the a cable and much neater looking!
Now I just need to use the socket half of this to make an always-on accessory jack...for some stupid reason my car turns off the power ports when the key is out.

This thing is great! I was able to get all of the 12v adapters away from the console, and relocated to under the drivers seat (also using the 3 outlet splitter as well ) And the BEST thing of all is the on/off switch, due to the fact that my car's 12v sockets are constantly powered.

Very handy for those vehicles that do not switch lighter socket off
