bought this to use in my digital camera. charged overnight like instructed. 4 pictures and dead. returned to Radio Shack, didn't have original packaging so could only replace. New one only lasted for three pictures. Now I'm stuck with a paper weight that I can recharge.

This battery is NOT 3 volts...it reads "2.4V" on the casing. Perhaps this is why my Olympus SP-310 powers off every time I put it on a setting that uses the flash. This battery is insufficient to be used in my camera. I'm sure it works with other applications, but I need a battery that doesn't malfunction from the moment you put it in your camera.
Great! No more expensive lithiums!
