I love that it is so small. The sound quality is great! I had it freeze up on me one time when one of my songs were a bad format. I have 379 on my 2GB and I think that is good for someone who doesn't need so many songs. It blocks out all noise when I am in public. You can delete songs that you don't want to listen to on the MP3 player and you can rate the songs and it even has a playlist for the songs you just want to listen to over and over again all the time. You can record little notes and the sound quality for that is awesome as well! You can listen to the radio and even reset your mp3 in the settings! I absolutely love it and would recommend it to others. Its a great price and its well worth it!

Im back and I returned my first one and got a new one. I charged it up and didnt use it, then I turned it on n the same thing as the other battery it was half way gone and i never used it or even turned it on. Although I havent tested out how long the battery will last im sure it will be about the same as the first! This would be cool if the battery actually worked. Looks like im callin radio shack again! I may be back! Oh yea n it froze once on me but it was easy to fix.

Wont break unless you throw it down on the ground through it out a moving car shoot it step on it freeze in hit it with a hammer Feed it to your dog Wash it go swimming with it uhh cover it in gas and light it on fire paint it or what not. MUCH cheaper than iPod shuffle 2 gig, smaller too. I have about..... 10 hours of MP3 files on it. It has a great FM radio.Good voice recorder too.

I got unlucky and I have to return it. It says up to 15 hours of playback. That is probably true but I got the bad one of the batch. When fully charged it lasted 4 hours. Then I charged it again and didnt use it then turned it on and the battery was half full.It takes too long to skip to the next song and even slower going backwards. Its not that big of the deal to have to return it because it is before 30 days but its more of a nuisence. If I cant save my songs and put it on the new one I will be mad!! I will give another review soon enough

Great mp3 player (awsome)

Thee's only a few words to say about it... It's great, it's awsome, it has no issues as far as I know. One thing is don't take the clip off a lot, it gets kind of loose, but not to the point where it comes off by itself. Oh, and it smudges in front which drives me crazy!!! But that's no problem. It scratches a little bit,but almost unnoticeable(is that a word?)unless you drop it on pavement, or in hot lava, or off a cliff or waterfall, or smash it into the ground, or drop concrete blocks on it, or throw it out of a moving vehicle, or smash it with a brick covered in a lemon peel, uh... I know, put it a tank of dry ice and smash it with a hammer, or smash it with a hammer, or stab it with a screwdriver, or disassemble it, or put it in a furnace, oh, a classic, shoot it with a rifle, or freeze it, or encase it in a block of cheese(that makes no sense)...

The same size (lengthwise) of a Ipod Shuffle, this sleek, micro-mp3 player is far beyond what I experienced with my 1st generation 512mb Ipod. For only $10 more than the current version of the Ipod Shuffle, you can get 2gb instead of 1. You just connect it to your usb, and within 3 minutes you're good to go (Windows Media, where have you been all my life?) ...

Very nice yellow/blue display on the screen. The "connected" and "battery level" are displayed in yellow which can have brightness adjustment. Below is a light blue reference relating to MP3 connection to your computer, constantly viewable til you disconnect it. There is no need to eject it through a program, just disconnect it.

Comes with VOICE recording, USB charger (external jack charger is not sold in the box, but who cares?) is included and is less than an half-arm-length. FM radio. Includes equalizer setting modes for equalizer, power, display, language, FM settings, volume, system info, reset all, format, USB mode, and press and hold.

Everything that an IPod does with it's shuffle could never compare to this product. It's VERY VERY good and easy to use with Microsoft Media.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for on-the-go people like myself. Will use my Sansa on the way to work and while working out and whilst vacationing.

One of the top 10 products sold at Radio Shack!

+ Syncs beautifully with Windows MediaPlayer
+ The perfect size for portability/usability
+ Great battery life (12hrs)
+ WAY better than an Apple Shuffle

My only complaint is the reception of the radio, a bit on the weak side. Still, this is only a problem if your in a large office building or deep in a parking garage.

This is my third mp3 player and this one is by far the easiest to setup. Controls are intuitive. Average earphones but good quality sound when used with after-market headphones. Fm tuner is a nice touch and works well in good reception areas. Nice looking little device seems well-built. A good value for folks who don't need video and / or photos on their player.

This is a neat little product. The small size is similar to the iPod Shuffle, but with functionality like the iPod. Great for listening to podcasts (plays them in the order you want, unlike the Shuffle), books on tape (fits about 2 books at a time), mp3 files, and FM radio. Really good at the gym - just put in in your pocket, no need to even clip on.
