My c250 freezes up out of nowhere and it's really annoying. I would recommend it if u were looking for something cheaper than an iPod, then buy it.
Within the first month I had it, the screen broke, and about a week later, one of the head phones stopped working! And it waasn't the headphones, it was the mp3 player itself that made one of them stop working.
Holds lots of PodCasts, can hear all radio shows from internet. Hear radio shows which normal people who work can not spend 3 hrs during the day to spend litening to radio. Stay informed on real issues. MicroSD slot doubles capacity. Put files on MicroSD card and then add to player, Works great! As with all player, headphone plug can break internals if too much force applied.
i listen when i have nothing else to do

the screen broke on me within weeks
I had this mps for a year then the audio thingy totally blew!!!! i wouldn't play a thing this is hte worst mp3 ever!!!!!!!!
I have had this mp3 for a week and it has been completely a waste of money and time. I put all my music on there which took forever and when I finally turned the mp3 on right away it froze up. I finally got it to turn off and I tried again. The second time I got all the way to my music selection menu and it froze again.I haven't even tried to use it since that second time because it makes me so mad.Other than the fact that it freezes up all the time it is pretty cool and it has a great design that is durable as far as I know.
doesnt recognize music subscription to rhapsody have to reformat the whole thing and then load songs again, did that 3-4 times now it says it cant obtain device certificate rendering it completely useless with subscription service. cheap piece of junk.
this product died on me out od no where .then turned on and completly died
I run track for my university so we travel alot and go to day long meets. One charge will last me a whole day of continuous listening. the only thing i can advise is buy a good pair of headphones with the product because mine died within a month. It is very durable, ive dropped this thing so many times and its still kicking. I bought one for my mom and my girlfriend and my mom then bought one for my little sister. So basically this thing is amazing
I had to return it b/c it did not recognize certain files, froze up on me numerous times when loading files. I wish it had worked better because the SD expansion slot is sweet and thos little cards are cool and make the device unlimited as far as memory. I returned this the same day and got the phillips [$]one which works great.
Great MP3 player for the price. The picture quality isn't that great, but you can't expect it from a small screen.
great sound, very easy menu, does lots of stuff like plays music, radio, voice recording, shows pictures,(thumbnails)long battery life, easy to upload files, just great, the downside of it,is the body is not hard at all, if it falls on a hard surface like mine it breaks easy, but still works fine as always, really I do not understand why nobody thought about making a case to protect it.
I use mine everyday, It does so much more than an Ipod.
I use it to listen to music when I'm working out. It has great sound and is easy to handle. Nothings bad about this it is great.
After regular use for a year the c250 has not exhibited the problems some people have complained about. The only time it has ever crashed is when I have docked it on the Altec Lansing im413. Other than that it is totally reliable and well built. I am not synching music, but it is easy to drag and drop folders to the unit (for compilatioins make sure you edit the tags so the album title is the same and tracks are in order). Sometimes leaves ghost files after deletion, which means re-formatting to remove them. You can download an actual user guide (the included one is useless) if you dig through the Sandisk web-site.
i have had it forever and it was working fine until i cracked the screen. there is a huge crack across the whole screen but it still works except the sound cuts out in one ear alot, which is annoying
Newer PC did not reconize device.
Unable to use.
At first I loved it until after 2 months the headphones didnt work anymore and it kept frezzing up!

This is a good, reliable player. I know this because I have listened non-stop, for the life of a charge, and had no problems. Mine has never frozen. Also, since I do not use WMA-DRM or any other music format from subscription sources, I have had no problems sending music to the player. The only problem I had was that I could not find a case for this player. That bit me on the but because, today, I ran it over screen side up, with an office chair, and the screen cracked off, becaming unreadable. In fact, I have had friends to buy this or other higher-end models, and quite frankly, we do not understand the negative publicity about this model and brand. If you can read, you can use this player. I know people with Ipod nanos and shuffles (old style) that wished they'd have gotten this one and saved about half their money. As long as you don't treat the player rough, it will serve its purpose better than the nano or shuffle. The only thing that got on my nervs about the player is tht there was or is a belt clip. It comes with that stupid lanyard that can scratch the screen if you are not careful.
i feel good about this product
its small and easy to use
its not all that fancy
my biggest problem is the earphones, I got it 11/06 and around this summer timeframe the earphones went out and only one side would work if it's plugged completely in. You have to half way plug it in to hear on both sides. I purchased new earphones with the same problem. This weekend was the first time I erased any songs and it had problems adding new songs after that. It said I had songs on the player that were not there. It has freezed up a few times, but not as big of a problem as the sound
Bought it to replace a MUCH older model mp3 player. Use it constantly. Worst problems have been the headphones and the lanyard. Love the ease of expansion with microSD which are extremely cheap now. Have gotten my money+ out of it.
Very good. People just need to take better care of it. I've had mine for 11 months and the headphones only just barley broke. the plastic got pretty scratched, though.
It sync'd with my computer once. Never to sync again. Sandisk tech service was no help. They were easy to get on the phone but were no help. Did I mention they were no help. Keep you money in your pocket, walk past this item, it sucks.
I bought this mp3 player in March because I joined a music subscription service and needed a player that was compatible with the service. The player worked fine for a couple of months, then it started to freeze up and I would have to Take the battery out and put it in again to get it to unfreeze. Then the song names would not erase from the player, they would be deleted from the memory but the titles would remain in the player. Now last week it suffered a major freeze up as it says there are no files in the player but there is no memory either. I tried the suppoort site for the player but they were of no help. At the time I thought the price was a steal, but now I see why. I guess you get what you pay for. I would not reccomend this player
Do not waste your money. It seems to be good, but: images are not clear, headphones low quality, internal battery troublefull to charged, if you use aditional micro SD memory, it takes a long time updating EACH TIME YOU TURN IT ON. No case, just a uggly necklace. The manual is very unclear. Forget, the MP3 world belongs to IPOD, I'm goint to take this item to the trash and wait to buy the IPOD nano touch.
great little unit. They all freeze. Hold down the power key. [...]MicroSD is forever expandable. Someone design a case with holsters for the lil chips. Recordable fm radio (the original copyright violator). Small unit with loads of power. Flash upgrades. There is an adjustable eq. With good headphones, music sounds better than ever
The stupid thing broke less than a week after purchase- it freezes all the time, and NOW IT SAYS I CANT LISTEN TO MUSIC DUE TO MU SUBSCRIBTION PLAN- what? Not good, not at all... [...]
after a few months it just kept on freezing and it was pretty bad.
This is my first MP3 Player, I love it. The only problem is that something happened to the screen, it looks like it's cracked on the inside. It was given to me as a gift so I don't have a warranty. I plan on getting another one.
it breaks from the earphone plug
the sound faded like ten days after i bought it...
this is my first mp3 player and i must say it was a good purchase. i like the fact that it comes with an fm tuner; the battery is end user replacable; and i can expand the memory. so i got a 2g player and both a 2g micro sd card and still did better, price wise than a 4g ipod nano. i recommend the service plan; the battery replacement is worth it.
It was purchased at Christmas. Now it is freezing and the buttons are not responding. The only way to power it on is to plug it in to the charging cable. However I got the protection plan and it was a breeze to get it replace.
love it so far... only wish it came with an arm band
I think that the product was kind of small and unmanageable,be advised that the product can only be used on Windows Media Player
Cheap price with reasonable sound quality. Kind of cheesy feel, display and user interface, but worked fine with Windows Media Player to transfer songs. Not as solid as the iPod Nano, but probably OK if you want to use a music subscription service. Battery life seems OK, it is also very light.
You get what you pay for, within minutes of taking it out of the box it froze, and has continued to cut on and off when it pleases.
this is a great mp3 player. small light perfect for walking or jogging.
