Within the first month I had it, the screen broke, and about a week later, one of the head phones stopped working! And it waasn't the headphones, it was the mp3 player itself that made one of them stop working.

Holds lots of PodCasts, can hear all radio shows from internet. Hear radio shows which normal people who work can not spend 3 hrs during the day to spend litening to radio. Stay informed on real issues. MicroSD slot doubles capacity. Put files on MicroSD card and then add to player, Works great! As with all player, headphone plug can break internals if too much force applied.

I have had this mp3 for a week and it has been completely a waste of money and time. I put all my music on there which took forever and when I finally turned the mp3 on right away it froze up. I finally got it to turn off and I tried again. The second time I got all the way to my music selection menu and it froze again.I haven't even tried to use it since that second time because it makes me so mad.Other than the fact that it freezes up all the time it is pretty cool and it has a great design that is durable as far as I know.

I run track for my university so we travel alot and go to day long meets. One charge will last me a whole day of continuous listening. the only thing i can advise is buy a good pair of headphones with the product because mine died within a month. It is very durable, ive dropped this thing so many times and its still kicking. I bought one for my mom and my girlfriend and my mom then bought one for my little sister. So basically this thing is amazing

I had to return it b/c it did not recognize certain files, froze up on me numerous times when loading files. I wish it had worked better because the SD expansion slot is sweet and thos little cards are cool and make the device unlimited as far as memory. I returned this the same day and got the phillips [$]one which works great.

great sound, very easy menu, does lots of stuff like plays music, radio, voice recording, shows pictures,(thumbnails)long battery life, easy to upload files, just great, the downside of it,is the body is not hard at all, if it falls on a hard surface like mine it breaks easy, but still works fine as always, really I do not understand why nobody thought about making a case to protect it.
I use mine everyday, It does so much more than an Ipod.

After regular use for a year the c250 has not exhibited the problems some people have complained about. The only time it has ever crashed is when I have docked it on the Altec Lansing im413. Other than that it is totally reliable and well built. I am not synching music, but it is easy to drag and drop folders to the unit (for compilatioins make sure you edit the tags so the album title is the same and tracks are in order). Sometimes leaves ghost files after deletion, which means re-formatting to remove them. You can download an actual user guide (the included one is useless) if you dig through the Sandisk web-site.

This is a good, reliable player. I know this because I have listened non-stop, for the life of a charge, and had no problems. Mine has never frozen. Also, since I do not use WMA-DRM or any other music format from subscription sources, I have had no problems sending music to the player. The only problem I had was that I could not find a case for this player. That bit me on the but because, today, I ran it over screen side up, with an office chair, and the screen cracked off, becaming unreadable. In fact, I have had friends to buy this or other higher-end models, and quite frankly, we do not understand the negative publicity about this model and brand. If you can read, you can use this player. I know people with Ipod nanos and shuffles (old style) that wished they'd have gotten this one and saved about half their money. As long as you don't treat the player rough, it will serve its purpose better than the nano or shuffle. The only thing that got on my nervs about the player is tht there was or is a belt clip. It comes with that stupid lanyard that can scratch the screen if you are not careful.

my biggest problem is the earphones, I got it 11/06 and around this summer timeframe the earphones went out and only one side would work if it's plugged completely in. You have to half way plug it in to hear on both sides. I purchased new earphones with the same problem. This weekend was the first time I erased any songs and it had problems adding new songs after that. It said I had songs on the player that were not there. It has freezed up a few times, but not as big of a problem as the sound

I bought this mp3 player in March because I joined a music subscription service and needed a player that was compatible with the service. The player worked fine for a couple of months, then it started to freeze up and I would have to Take the battery out and put it in again to get it to unfreeze. Then the song names would not erase from the player, they would be deleted from the memory but the titles would remain in the player. Now last week it suffered a major freeze up as it says there are no files in the player but there is no memory either. I tried the suppoort site for the player but they were of no help. At the time I thought the price was a steal, but now I see why. I guess you get what you pay for. I would not reccomend this player

Do not waste your money. It seems to be good, but: images are not clear, headphones low quality, internal battery troublefull to charged, if you use aditional micro SD memory, it takes a long time updating EACH TIME YOU TURN IT ON. No case, just a uggly necklace. The manual is very unclear. Forget, the MP3 world belongs to IPOD, I'm goint to take this item to the trash and wait to buy the IPOD nano touch.
