I bought this player to replace my old Sony mp3 disk player that I had previously lost. The set-up for this player was very simple. My desktop and laptop easily recognized the device when it was connected. The music and photo files flowed easily from using either WMP and RealPlayer. The sound through the earbuds was better than expected and the operation is so simple to figure out, even without the quick start guide. Yes, the screen is kind of small for photos, but absolutely great for scrolling through song files. A pretty good model for the price.

It held a charge at first, but after a while won't hold a charge anymore.

its not worth the price i got it for. I can't SYNC files.
At first this product worked well for me. It was fairly simple to set up, and played well. But after a few months, it started to fall apart. The battery needs constant replacement, and the battery lasts only a couple hours at best. I like to listen to music during classes and at work, and also at the gym, but there is never enough battery life to get me through the day.
WITH THE HELP OF WINDOWS XP AND WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11.....DOWNLOADING WAS A BREEZE. WHEN I PLUG IT TO MY COMPUTER IT'S AUTOMATICALLY RECOGNIZED. DOWNLOADING QUITE SIMPLE. I TRULY WISH IT CAME WITH A USB PORT AND WALL CHARGER. I HAD TO PURCHASE A CHARGER FOR MY HOME WHEN MY COMPUTER WAS OUT OF SERVICE. AS WITH ANY MAN MADE ITEM IT WILL PROBABLY HAVE IT'S GLICHES. I'M NOT WORRIED I PURCHASED A PRODUCT REPLACEMENT PLAN FOR TWO YEARS. ALTHOUGH IT'S PERFORMANCE IS GREAT IT IS HARD TO FIND A CARRYING CASE FOR IT.
Volume button broke, got it replaced, now it won't put music on it. Getting very irritated. Wouldn't reccomend at all.
This is my second Sandisk and both shorted out on me. I am never buying this product again.
I bought this product on my birthday, i was so excited, but then after a couple of days i realized, that i needed a more batteries!..i didn't realize how important this feature was until then. So i grew accostumed to constantly buy ing new batteries. But when i took it along with me, on me trip to another country, it died on the ride to the airport. I went through maybe 30 batteries during the cousre of 4 days, until i finaly just gave up. This product is unrealibe, and freezes up, at least 5 a week. But i guess i got what i asked for, in terms of the price. Spend a little extra when it comes to mp3s, its worth the price and the time.
I am an avid "reader of reviews" prior to purchasing electronics, but I went with my gut and bought this for my daughter's 9th birthday...At that time, I was naive to the MP3 world and was suprised to learn that a wall charger was not included. It is easy to navigate and download onto,the screen is very bright and the sound was good...when it worked. I own this product for 9 months and now need to replace it as the sound no longer works correctly(it was never damaged in any way). It feeds with static into only 1 earphone.. plus the FM stero never had any type of reception. I don't feel it was worth the[$] I paid for it almost a yr ago[...]
use it to go to school in the morning and come back home from school in the afternoon the good about it is that it holds a good amount of music nd you can put pictures the bad thing is like most mp3 players the screen breaks easily.

This is a great player for me at work. I plug it into an FM transmitter, and I can listen to it throughout the shop without having to wear headphones. Very easy to use, and the battery lasts a couple of shifts before it needs to be recharged. I also like the microSD expansion slot.

With my mp3 player, I tried a few different pairs of headphones, and the right side was the only side that played. However, both sides worked for about 8 months. However, I still would definately recommend it to a friend.

I just got this today for my birthday, and so far it's working pretty well. At first, it confused me, but then I figured out how to rip songs off of my CDs, then transfer them to the player. I also used Napster and that was really easy. One thing that bothers me is that the screen isn't the best and the album art appears washed out, but I didn't buy it for the album art. I probably won't be transferring photos to the player because the screen is too small. Overall, it's a good player and I would recommend it to anyone that wants a small player for a reasonable price.
I never had any problems with this MP3 player. It never froze, very easy to put music on it, worked great with a FM transmitter for the car, and I could easily skip a song if I didn't want to hear it (which seems to be a big issue with most players. However I didn't actually realize that it was such a great player until it was stolen and I started looking to purchase another one. I would say that this player is definitely worth the money.

Great buy! I have never owned a MP3 before. It's great. The instructions are easy to figure out and the battery IS removable.
Received as a gift. This toy froze up when powered on and I had to remove and replace the battery to get it going. After downloading my mp3 files, there was a problem with output through the included ear buds. It would fade in and out and I had to pull the ear phone jack in and out to get one channel or the other, not both.
Otherwise easy to use. For the money it should perform well out of the box. I will try one more before moving on to another brand.
Good stuff but the right side of the headphone blue out after a little while. But otherwise its pretty good
So far so good. I really enjoy the sound and reliability. I am having a hard time getting a case for it. Other than that it is perfect.
One of the best mp3 players i've bought. but the only problem is the headphone jack messes up and was just coming out the right earphone.

my mp3 does not hold over 172 songs i recommend people not 2 purchas this product
I have a copy of this mp3 palyer. IT was working fine at first but for some strange reason the headphone jack messes up. I thought one of my headphones blew out on the left side, then I put it in my old cd player and it worked just fine. (Edited by moderator.)
Pretty good but my songs got erased twice now for some reason. No big deal if u still have your songs on the comp
Reasonably priced! Good for starters and easy to use. A perfect gift for any age.
On the first try I installed the software and it worked fine. Then my laptop stopped recognizing it. So I attempted to install the software a second time. I was unable to install the software for the player. I called customer support and they told me that it was my laptop. I returned it. I will not buy a replacement from the same manufacturer.
This is a very good mp3 player. I got it on sale and it is great. Watch out for the ear peace plugin. Sumetimes they shorten out
It is a very nice mp3 but what ever u do be carefull with the earphone jack!!!! Because I would swing it around and now it dont work so just a WARNING!!!!!!
This is the best mp3 player ever i recomend it to anyone who wants to have a good proffesional mp3 and its a good by u get songs and u can also poot photos on it witch is a good thing
I bought this MP3 for my daughter for Xmas. It is a great buy. She loves it, it looks so nice with the color screen, and photos are a plus. The only bad thing is the instructions are not clear on all things but the customer service is excellent when you call them! And I am having trouble finding a case for it. Great buy though!
It overall is a great product, but the directions were very bad! When you put photos on it they don't seem to come out clearly... I you want to get the 1GB, you night as well buy the 2GB!!
I received this mp3 player as a Christmas present and I love it. It is easy to use, super easy to download songs and has great sound quality. This is an awesome buy and does the same thing as an Apple IPOD at a fraction of the cost. I would suggest this player to anyone. I plan to buy one for my 13 year old son.

Like others, I bought this instead of an IPOD. I am very pleased. Feels a little fragile, but not too bad. Contrary to one of the previous reviews, the battery can be removed. I got it out with no problem. This is a solid MP3 player, and a great deal.
I was skeptical of puchasing a player that was not attached to the apple brand but i am sure am glad i gave it try! the sound quality of the player is great and it is easy to rip cds to the player as well...GREAT BUY!!!!
I considered buying the IPOD before I purchased this MP3 player. I am glad I chose this one. I am happy with it, the sound is good, color screen is a plus. I love it. Good deal for the money. I even bought my 9 year old daughter one.
I just got this item today and it has already messed up. I do not recommend it for ANYONE. You cannot remove the battery from the MP3 player, even though it says that you can.
