If I could give this phone NO STARS I would. The battery life after about 6 months of use doesn't even last 20min off of the charger. Worst phone I've ever invested in. Please do not buy this product!!!

I have had this phone for two days and I am very disappointed!! It was easy to set up but I could not get it to ring in when I had an incoming call!! I tried everything the book said to. It would work for a few minutes but would quit!! As far as the battery life and all that goes, I did not get to try it out...I am taking this phone back and I will be getting another brand!!

The phone is sleek and stylish looking. The sound quality is good. I can leave the handsets off the charger for days and they still work fine.

But when I bought it at a local Radio Shack they told me I could upgrade it with additional handsets. Now I can't find out how to do that, and I called Vtech and they say it's not possible unless you buy them the same time as the base unit, which seems like a crazy way to do business.

I have had this phone for 4 months. I am in Houston and after the power outage, the voicemail on this phone stopped working. I cannot turn it off until I have an incoming call. If I turn it off, I cannot turn it back on. It will not record messages. The phone just rings and rings and rings. [...]

i had the phone for about a year...after 6 months the battery started to die after 15 min. or so. Also hitting speakerphone would shut the phone off every time until it was placed in the charger again, and sometimes when making calls the person receiving the call would hear nothing but silence. I love love love the appearance of the phone but the quality was definitely not up to par. thank god i got the warranty!

I have had this phone system for nearly a year. I have had absolutely no problems with it. I can leave a phone off the charger for over a week and pick it up and talk for hours afterwards. I have had no problem with a phone ever cutting off because of battery life.
This phone system has an amazing speakerphone. Just lay the handset down in the room and talk. People I talk to say it sounds clearer on speakerphone than when it is in handheld mode.

Hands Down Worst Product Ever Purchased
By Yaelle from Baltimore, Md on 4/7/2008
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Cons:
Cant Hold Charge, Lacks Features, Limited Range, Poor Sound Quality, Weak Signal
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

When I first bought it, it immediately didn't work despite having charged the battery for at least the recommended amt of time. [...] Now it will give me the battery warning after 12 hours of being on the charger (light lit!) It couldnt be worse as far as going dead in no time flat. I mean, I have had it charging for as long as 4 days & if I take it off the charger and a call comes through, just the ringing alone will kill the battery. WHOA. I wish I still had the box and receipt so I could try again to take it back.
