After upgrading phones from 900Mhz to 2.4Ghz (to improve range) - then to 5.8GHZ to try to reduce interference with my wireless network (2.4Ghz) - returned both and got the DECT 6.0. This one works well even in the same room with the wireless router.

The others (Motorola 5.8Ghz) and Uniden 2.4 Ghz promise no interference - NOT TRUE!

 
Incompatible with Comcast phone service

I didn't realize this when I bought it, but it's not compatible with Comcast digital phone service. I have to return it. (My sister also had a Uniden phone in Mass. that didn't work with her Comcast phone service, either).

Pros: Will not interfere with your wireless LAN. All handsets can be active on the same call at the same time. Phone books can be transferred from one handset to another. Each handset can be used as a speaker phone. Base station is wall mountable. Battery life indicator on handset display. Handset can control answering machine. Cons: No one touch dialing. Base station can only be used to control answering machine and not answer calls.

I havent had this phone but so far i love it. It is so comfortable for everyday use. the price was great.
