An affordable package. Baseset has good features but reciever sound is muffled and tinny. Remote phones have very poor range(10 ' or less) and conversation breaks up after that. Would not buy another

I absolutely love this phone. I love the fact that I can have a corded phone right next to my work area @ home along with the cordless if I need to get up and do other things. I see alot of reviews about the sound quality, I personally haven't had any issues with that. But then, I don't go down the street with the phone either. It's a great value and it's durable.

The base unit of this phone is not bad at all and easy to use. The beeping for missed call is aggrevating. Should have blinking light or at least a choice. The reason for this bad review is for a 5.8GH phone, you can't go 10 feet away without it loosing the signal and breaking up. I had a 900MH phone that had 10 times the range of this thing. We need to have the remote in another location and if it is in another room, there is no signal at all and it is useless. I would suggest the manufacturer of this unit be sentenced to using it for a year in their own personal home. Maybe this would prompt more research on extending the range.
