Had to return this product because it continually dropped calls once I stepped outside my home. Previous cordless phones did not do so.

Bottom Line:

This is the worst phone ever. You can't step more then a few feet away from the base and it becomes so fuzzy you can't hear. You have to have complete silence around you when you are on the phone because it picks up every sound and you can't hear the person you are speaking with.

This is the worst phone for the price. The phone cuts off after 1 minute and you have to push talk when it cuts off or you will lose the conversation with the other person. it got to the point where the person I'm talking to would want to end the coversation early. I would never buy this type of phone again.

I work at RadioShack and bought this phone for my grandparents in Seattle. They didn't need the bells and whistles so this phone works out well for them. They have the base in the living room and the accessory handset in the living room. It works well where it is a one floor house but signal is week if you travel too far from the base.

This works fine if you live in an appartment or a one-story place, even in a two-story place, but don't even try putting more than one floor between the handset and the base.

By susan s from chicago on 6/26/2007

We had the base unit in he basement with the other attachment in my bedroom. Every channel was fuzzy, and it was impossible to have a conversation. We ended up returning the item. It's not worth your money!
