This is the third phone we have tried in the last 3 months and so far this is the clearest sounding and the easiest to set up. We use it strictly for home use and so far I am very happy with it. We took the other 2 back as neither of us could hear on them.

This phone has everything I was looking for. Got it for my husband's home business. The main feature that caught my eye was the lighted buttons & screen, absolutely fabulous!
The phone, answering machine and cordless handset were very easy to set up. The verbal instructions feature is very nice, but the on-screen menu by itself is very clear and easy to follow.
No problems with range (the base is in my husband's office at one corner of the house, the cordless is in the kitchen several rooms away). Sound on phones and answering machine is very clear.
One feature we miss that our old machine had is a visual indicator of new messages - the numbers on the old one flashed if there was a new msg so you didn't have to walk into the room. However, this is a very minor inconvenience considering all the other features of the phone.
One other complaint - only 15 minutes recording time. We take a 2 week vacation each spring and with so little recording time we're going to have to use the remote access to clear out messages so it doesn't get full. However, I did a lot of research before deciding on this phone and most other similar phones had 15 minutes OR LESS recording time for messages. The most I found was 19 min. I don't understand this - using a computer chip to record messages with only a 15 minute limit??

Bought this phone two months ago and have been very pleased with the features and perfomance. The corded base has all the features I wanted with visual and audible caller ID/call waiting, answering machine, wall mountable, speakerphone, programable, etc. The speaker has great clarity -- I have it in my kitchen so I can answer and talk when my hands aren't available. I keep the cordless handset nearby so that if I need to move to another part of the house I can pick it up and go. I have had no problems with range or clarity on the cordless handset, and it has a jack so I can plug in my headset. I had a hard time finding a system that had jack -- a lot of cordless are speakerphones now. My only complaint is that the AC cords are ivory and don't match the phone bases, which are white. This is a minor issue in comparison to all the great features and excellent quality of the phone system. As far as looks go, it is not the most gorgeous phone I have ever seen, not very modern, but it is very user friendly with soft light up buttons that are easy to push. My 7 year old loves dialing it. I didn't really need all these features when I bought the phone, but I like it so much I ditched my old answering machine/phone. Love it!
