The directions for registering additional handsets are very poor. Lucked up on how to do it by trial and error. Also haven't figured out how (if it can be done) to disconnect first line when call comes through on second line and I want to hang up on first caller.

These phones have terrible range. The whole point of having expandable phones is so that you can have them in multiple rooms. These phones do not allow you to be very far away from the main base unit. If I am upstairs (in a small house) or my husband is out in the garage, we have to go back near the kitchen just to be able to talk. Our phones are less than a year old, but I'm getting something else. I do not recommend these phones.

The website offers a toll free number for help with registering/de-registering the handsets.Unfortunately, the recording suggests that you return your phone & handsets to a "store in your area" for help with this problem when all that is needed is some instruction on how to register handsets-as the pdf file suggests:
Proving to me that if you want a quality product with better than poor customer service, you had better go someplace else.

The manual does not correspond to the latest version of the phone. Going through the menus is hit or miss. Unit base lights up and won't go off. Blinking icon that stays on and is not described anywhere in the user manual.

Phone is compact and appears very well made. Sound quality is excellent but the range is a little limited. Perfect indoors in a home.

Our previous 2.4 system has a better range than this system. We had to end up hooking up both systems.
