Had it for less than a year and the battery is dead whereas my Uniden phone batteries are still going strong after 5 years. It has too big of a talk button so you can't hold the phone between your shoulder and ear without cutting off the call. I wouldn't purchase this phone again.

I have had this phone for about 2 1/2 years and it still works, just now replacing battery. Good value!

Within 6 months I had to replace the battery in the phone (about $15.00). Now, a few months later, the phone has completely stopped working. If the battery is drained every 6 months, one would be paying for a new phone annually.

We bought this phone and it just stopped working after a couple of weeks. The hand set rings, but the answering machine just stopped working - another cheap product by GE that is a waste of money. Don't waste your time, money or energy on this one.
