Ive had this radio for a couple months now, and have had only one problem problem. The remote control keeps running the batteries down for some reason. Other than that, this is an excellant radio and the price was just unbelieveable. Awsome FM transmitter. I can leave it on in my car, and listen to it in the house. Best money I have ever spent.

this product has had no problems i have had it for almost one year now and never had one problem it really takes only a minute to install in other vehicles if you do not want to buy another anntenna just take it out plug it in

Had initial problem with presets not sticking, phoned Sirius and they promptly shipped another unit. Before new unit arrived the Sirius One recieved an update and preset problem was corrected. Very easy to install, works great with good clarity through FM transmitter (although very close to factory radio). Very happy with unit and Sirius!

Wireless FM transmitter stinks. Lose frequency often (trees, passing under bridge) Quality is very poor, and I am VERY unsatisfied!!!

The receiver was just what I was looking for. I wanted something small, and wouldn't looked tacked to the dashboard of my Grand Prix. First off, let me say, I HATE WIRES! I cant stand putting something in a car, and seeing wires strung around. It makes a car look cheap. I tried a few different mounting options. Tried the visor bracket. It was ok, but it was cumbersome when i wanted to use the visor for sun reasons. And there again, the wires would show. I thought about mounting in an open cubby hole in the dash. But decided against it, for fear the sun would wash out the screen and would not be able to read it. I tried the windshield mount, but the suction cups allowed the receiver to vibrate, making the screen hard to read. So what I decided was, I took the windshield mount and threw away the suction cups. I used double sided automotive tape on the windshield mount, and stuck the mount up high on the colored part of the windshield. I flipped the receiver upside down to have access to the buttons, and bent the bracket slighty to press the receiver slighty against the headliner. So to eliminate vibration problem. I tucked the wires up into the headliner and routed them as needed. I did have to buy a extention cord for the power cord, in order to get power from the lighter socket. But part of that is just me. So I could run the power cord under the dash, and have the ash tray closed. And, you guessed it, not see any wires. I also routed the antenna wire to the back window, and attached the magnetic antenna to the top of the third brake light on the inside of the car. Securing it with one side of hook and loop tape against the the automotive carpet on the back dash board. That way, now I don't have to worry about cable breakage from kids or weather. And, you guessed it, I don't have some ugly wire strung half way down my trunk. Now my receiver has easy access. Is easy to read. Is out of the way. And you guessed it, no ugly thing tacked to the dash, and no wires showing. If I could add one feature, it would be a day ight button to the receiver. So it would be easy to see during the day, and not flood the car with light during the night. You can change the brightness of the receiver, but you have to go thru a menu to do so. Even better would be a light sensor, so the receiver would adjust according to the surrounding light. Hope this helps. I am very satisfied.

I have two of them one in the car and the other i use in my truck and on my Bike and love them. i up and down the coast and works great. i have used it my motorcycle an H-D FLHT and it work great. buy one and you will love it. Ride safe and Ride Free.

You get what ya pay for...if you buy this i would recommend buying the sirius fm direct adapter because the wireless fm transmitter is very weak. overall not too bad tho!

Garbage, garbage, GARBAGE. Beware the old adage: you get what you pay for. The FM transmitter is VERY weak, the blue readout is invisible in sunlight, and the controls are very hard to use, especially while driving. I bought this inexpensive unit for my third vehicle because of its small size (I have 2 other Sirius radios), and immediately junked it. The only way I can justify the purchase is that I got an extra antenna. Look elsewhere.

I bought this to use in my company work truck wich I am in and out of 9-12 hours a day. Having been a car audio installer for 11 years in my previous career, I was not very excited about using an FM modulator, but I was extremely surprised at the FM quality from this unit. The unit dosnt require an extra antenna for FM and makes it faster and easier to change vehicles than more expensive units. Try to locate the unit close to car radio for best results. I can see the blue display fine with it mounted to my dash.

GOOD UNIT AT A GREAT PRICE BUT REMOTE IS TOO SMALL AND WHEN THE SUN IS OUT YOU CAN'T SEE THE UNITS DISPLAY.THE DISPLAYS COLOR SHOULD BE CHANGED FROM BLUE TOO AMBER!

I put the unit in my Freightliner, anten in the overhead above the windshield and just check the local stations B4 using that one, for this unit to broadcast to. Works GREAT.

I had a different model that was stolen and I didn't want to spend a lot. I bought this model-not expecting too much- and was pleasantly surprised. The FM transmission is good (contrary to what others have said) and I can leave the radio on in my car and get reception on a small portable radio in the house; a distance of over 40 feet.

The worst thing about it for me is that the FM Transmitter does not transmit very well even on the channels that are recommended by Sirius on my area. I don't know if it is my car or what but I have to spend extra money to get a cassette adapter just so I can hear the music!

Great unit. This being my 4th sirius unit. Already have 2 sportsters and an xact unit. I like the fact that it's portable and you can take it from car to car in a snap. Great for taking it with you on a trip for those rental cars. There is noway I can be witout Sirius for any amount of time. Yeah, the display is a little hard to read on bright sunny days. That's just a minor inconvenience to me. Your listening to the program, not looking at the display all the time, so what does it matter. Other than that this unit is a perfect inexpensive way to get Sirius. I highly recommend it.

Great unit. The only thing I wish was different was that the remote was bigger. Other than that I wish I would have got the starmate replay, because of the song alert feature...

Works great, even without the car antenna!!All the other ratings are on the money, display can't be seen during the day, otherwise I am glad I purchased it. I also removed the car antenna on my Kia the FM modulator works grat on my unit.

This is a great little receiver. Self install was a cinch. This is my second receiver for my wife's car. There was no good place to mount a larger unit (Starmate replay) and I wont use the suction cup mounts so this little Sirius ONE was the ticket. It sits in a little compartment in the dash of her Volvo and I was able to do a clean install. The FM transmitter is stronger than my Starmate ST2 I think! With rebate it was a STEAL! The unit works great and the remote is quite handy. Sirius radio is great.

i had just bought the sirius one on the 1st of july, and to be honest, i love the device. it has all my favorite channels and i can now listen without the worry of commercials. i think commercials are a waste of time in my opinion, the sirius one is the best device i have bought for the money and i will have it as long as i can afford it because i dont know what i would do without it, i guess listen to regular radio, sike, im just playin'. Make the right choice and buy this, not XM.

This unit is a great buy. Having a car with just a cassette and AM/FM radio this was prefect for music my car. The only problem I have is that the IR remote needs to be pointed right at the tuner.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN INEXPENSIVE WAY TO GET SIRIUS THIS UNIT IS FOR YOU. DISPLAY IS A LITTLE HARD TO READ IN DAYTIME BUT YOU GET USED TO IT. SUPER EASY TO INSTALL

Great unit for the price. Installed it in 15 minutes. The remote is a bit hard to use. It is much easier once you set up your pre-select channels. If you want to us it at home buy the Starmate Replay home kit. It uses the same power supply. I just bent the suction cup mount a little and use that in my house. I used the visor mount in my car.

installed this on my steering column, easy access, small design. I would reccommend this unit to all. My fiance liked it so much, he installed one in his car and in his teenagers. highly recommend.

Well made and well functioning, but the display is terrible. Only visible in low light or at night.

I love that this unit looks like a radar detector! It's easy to use and can fit anywhere.

I love this unit even though I'm frustrated about no home kit. It IS hard to read in the daylight too. The remote is a bit hard to handle while driving.

I installed this unit on the passenger side visor of my 2000 Corvette Hardtop. I liked the feature which allowed me to flip the display 180 degrees by pushing a button. I used 3m double-sided tape from Radio Shack to install the magnetic antenna to my fiberglass trunk lid. Reception has been flawless. The FM transmitter is rock solid. I replaced the cigarette lighter plug with an in-line fuse holder and wired it directly to the fuse block and a grounded bolt. It looks great and works very well.

I bought this as a gift for a friend (I already own a Sirius Sportster) and after setting this up, I was amazed at the simplicity and compactness. I was also able to buy a 12V power supply and it can now be used in his home. AWESOME PRODUCT and GREAT VALUE.

Hey.. this is a great product. So easy to install and the quality is great. I was leery about the FM transmitter, but the quality is very impressive. Only drawback in my opinion is how to change channels - it can be a bit tricky when driving. Great value with a rebate. This is my second unit. I have a Sportster in the house and this one in my car.

Exceptional first-time radio for me. Easy to set up, perfect reception. The only negative is the single-line display (other radios show category, channel name, artist & song all at once). Overall, I am extremely happy with this radio.

Great unit install took 10 min. great buy

It was extremely easy to install. I got a great signal with no static at all! It was a great value.

Easy to install. Does have interference at times and in bright sunlight the display is hard to read. Good entry level unit with reasonable for the price. My next radio will be capable of being moved to the house.

Although no home kit is available for the SV1, I am using another models power supply and antenna and using this unit in my home. So for $35, I made my own home kit, just listen through home sound system.

It is easy to install. The cable for the mag antenna is thin enough to hide under seals and tuck away under carpet. The unit is easy to use. The wireless x-mit works pretty good. I get a little static occasionally. (I think powerlines may interfere). The display can be flipped. You can install the unit upside-down and turn the display over. The only problem I have with it is the display. I wish it showed more info at one time. It scrolls info so you have to wait a couple of seconds to see the info. Other than that, I love the unit and the service.

This is my first experience with satellite radio, but I have to say, this receiver has been great. It took over FM stations that were even broadcasting, I didn't even have to look for an FM station that wasn't broadcasting. Also, very easy to install and it fits great in my 2005 Grand Prix in the empty area below the stereo. Wish it would've had more antenna wire, though, almost ran out routing it up to the center dash. Also, the blue display doesn't match well with the red interior lights of my grand prix. All in all, though, I'm very pleased with this receiver and the sound quality. For what you get, you can't beat the price.

Excellent value. Set up easily and sounds great.

The SV1 is by far the best value receiver I have ever used. The FM modulator works to perfection on any FM station that is not currently broadcasting over the air content. Most FM mod units will only allow you to stay in the 88-89mhz range, but this will allow you to select whatever station you want. The antenna has an extra long cable and mag mount that is nice. I found that placing the antenna on my dash as far forward toward the windshield as possible provides signal capture 99% of the time. The exception is when you pull into a garage or under a car port, but then again, this would be the case if you drilled a hole in your vehicle and put the antenna on the roof, so overall, this unit is great with performance, and the key is the install. The fact that you can use this unit as a semi-portable makes it great for swapping between cars!

Quick and easy set up and install process. Online Sirius account setup was great, fast and easy. The value and versatility makes this unit a great choice for having multiple vehicles.

installed in about 10 minutes - went to the net and set up my account - then another 10 minutes to set up my channels - and I'm listening to great music, news, weather, sports, and some super comedy when I want it - anywhere I want it - a few weeks ago (without this) I was traveling across Pa and kept trying to listen to the Giants football game - couldn't find, found it, lost it, found it, lost it, found it, got home just in time to hear them lose - anyway, now I can hear them lose without interruption

Perfect unit for someone who is looking for the basic features of Sirius Sat Rad. Blends in perfectly on my Wrangler's dashboard, and the price cannot be beat. I was worried that the FM modulator wouldn't be very strong with this small unit, however it is rock solid. I really like the fact that you can transmit to any FM station vs. the 3 or 4 that the first generation units allowed.

This is an awesome little receiver. I like the fact that it is the size of a radar detector and mounts on my windshield. I do however wish the display was brighter. I cranked up the brightness and contrast but the display still lacks the brightness of my Passport Radar Detector. Both have blue displays, but the Sirius One is much hard to see during daylight hours. Other than the diplay issue, this unit was well worth the money.

WOW...it was a very easy installation and setup. It took only 10 min. to hook-up (NO drilling or dashboard removal). This is nice little unit and a great value

I'm a truck driver and this little unit is the best value for the money,I also love the fact that I got back a $25.00 gift card with this purchase.

Very Easy to install. Great sound. Very small. Can hide easy in car. The remote is infrared (IR)...not radiofreq (RF) at it states on the radioshack website

Replaced my Sportster in my vehicle, this is smaller and increases the mounting options. Only complaint is that in sunlight, display is very hard to read, otherwise it gets the job done.
