this is an extreamly fun rc car. It goes fast the tires come off but it is a fun car I did some work on mine and put a small rear bumper on it and it pulls wheelies

Very fun car, especially considering the price. I posted a video of mine online (search google video for "rc ferrari f430 mfc") just for kicks.
My car's handling is improved from stock, but all the parts are original, including the tires.
A few dabs of superglue on 5 or 6 points around each wheel, between the tire and rim, keep the tires on and help the tire hold the ground better (since the tires arent flexing and pulling away from the rim as much). I also softened my rear suspension up quite a bit (yes, this car has adjustable rear susp) and put around 1/4lb of weight over the rear axle. The car was fun when I got it, but it drives perfect now. It's best to leave the throttle trim all the way to the right, otherwise you can hardly get moving without spinning out.
the rear tires are cheap and fall off immediately.
and its not compatible with regular hex hub tires.
not recommended for anyone who wants fun with their RC car.

Nice starter car...but, mine had tire problems in the first day. one of my tires fell off so i replaced them nitro car tires. But, very bad diff. mine was shot in a week. So it a ok car but, not one i personally like.

any one who drives this,will automaticly fall in love with it.just amagine you're self owning a ferrari f430.
Works best on concrete sidewalks, and once there, you can't stop using it until the battery runs out, wich the battery (once charged) lasts a VERY long time!!! It turns at high speeds very well, and is fun to use.

its a sweet car but the accelerating is allil bit hard to get down at first and i think there should be a new type of tire made for more traction. otherwise amazing car and FRINKIN SWEET
I really enjoy this car but it isn't made for small parking lots it is made for tracks for toy cars.it is fun, fast, but I want to buy new body for it because mine is scratched so this is minus, and it is hard to keep it in straights so this is another minus, but still thumbs up!

I recieved one as a christmas gift, had so much fun with it I went a bought a 2nd one. The one thing that is a problem is the car has too much power for the tires it comes with. Replace the slicks with treads in it - this makes a world of difference in the handling. It is definately not a car to be driven in the house, it needs a smooth wide open space like a basketball or tennis court.

i just bought this car and the car has an amazing acceleration from zero to full speed in less than a second it handles pretty well it comes with a 14turn moter its a great buy get one before they are gone
By far the best Radioshack has.The body is this but i have crashed it many times (including having it roll down a hill in a parkinglot) and it still is in one piece. It's crazilla fast with unbelivable response. There is one downside to it. I had the car 2 weeks before i could drive it. Why? Because i wasnt aware that i had to buy the battery separetly. Oh well. i got my money's worth in the first 5 minutes of driving.
Great price for performence ratio. To keep the tires on, I super glued them onto the rims. So far they have stayed on for me.

The only reason I don't give the performance 5 stars is because the tires keep slipping off when I make a sharp turn,the wheel always comes off.If I could fix that thes would be the quetest and fastest electric car I could think of.so if anyone could type a review to tell how I can fix this than that would be great.
I bought this r/c car and it is great. For the price this is a must buy. It goes very fast. Even though the body at first seems very flimsy it is not. Its light to make it go fast. I have rolled it multiple times and ran it into trees and mailboxes. You can also upgrade the parts at a local hobbystore. I would recommend buying new tires though. After changing the tires i was thrilled at how good it handled. You can also buy new bodies for it if you want. For all people who want a fast r/c at a good price get this!!!

so far for its built a fast electric car. i cloced at 20MPh for this thing tops. spins to much changed the tires and it gave better traction. 1st day it broke. i took it on track couldnt even turn much on original tires the tire turn system is to wide it should be made more less wide so it can take smaller turns.the teeths of the gears broke very quickly opened it up and saw it is very cheap quality plastic. the body is very fragile broke on my first hit.

This car is one of the best R/C cars i've ever broken, i don't know how many things i ran into at top speed (on accidend of course) and the car still hasn't broken, only bad part is, when you just start to accelerate, you can't put it at full throttle right away, but over all, a good car

Like some other people said, the car slides alot under power and the tires wear very quickly, but after a few minutes of driving you get the hang of it. I turn the throttle trim all the way to the right when the battery is fully charged, otherwise the car slides wildly when accelerating from a stop. This is by far the coolest RC car I've owned, you cant get much more power than this without a brushless electric or nitro motor, and the thing is downright cheap! It easily powerslides when going almost anywhere below top speed without spinning out if you're gentle with the steering. I've never seen a rc car with suspension quite like this, it works very well and keeps the steering very sharp. The chassis and body are pretty lightweight so the thing will pick up speed about as fast as the tires will let it. But most of the car is also made from very hard plastic (front and rear bumper, etc) and there is no flex in the bumpers at all; the bumpers themselves would probably never break, but any jolts from crashing into stuff are transferred through the car to easily damage the motor and gears, like i've read on here. As long as you're careful not to crash it into anything too badly, and you have a BIG paved parking lot to open up the throttle, you can't go wrong with this car.

this car is one of the faster cars that ive had and i love it. the stearing on it is ok but not as good as i would like to be. overall i think that this car is a must buy.

VERY FAST!!!!! Goes faster than a real hobby car and can hobby ubgradable. I got wheels and a new body. This is a great investment.

It is a great rc car. goes VERRY fast! The onley thing bad is that you canot crash it head on at full speed or else the gears will break, I had to buy new gears.

car is a lot of fun, havn't owned many RC's but this is well worth it, body feels cheap but built that way for good reason, keeps from shattering the car. Only complaint is the antenna is hard to keep up.

i got my car just today. it is really fast!!! i just can't use my car enough! though my tires keep falling off when i slide around. overall it is a good buy. i got my money's worth.

I have flipped the car, my son has ran it into curbs....that is... straight into curbs, I drift,spin...in other words if the the thing were to break today, I could only say I got my money out of it. Sometimes people expect too much, For this price if mine breaks I'll probably buy another and keep the first as a parts car. By the way, you're not supposed to buy a Ferrari to drive it like an off-road vehicle!!!!

Cool little car. I have built about 15 Hobby grade tamiaya kits and this one is quite impressive with a 14 turn Quad motor and a Tazer speed control. Id say it hits an easy 40 mph. Very clean gear ratio, seems to be about 5.8:1 . I would assume with a brushless setup this little guy can hit mid 50's. Too bad its so fragile. Stock , this car is almost double the speed of a tamiya tt01 kit.

this is the best remote control car i ever had
This car is awsome but it needs upgrades. But still it's great because all Ferraris are great.
wow. greatest r/c car i've ever owned.. although with the flimsy body style it breaks. i hit the side of a speed bump at full throttle and it fliped on its side hit a rock and rolled about 10 times, until it came to a stop under my neigbors car. when i got it out, thier was lots of scratchs and cracks. but it still works great. love it, and im hoping to start an r/c ferrari team just because. =)
its really fast but to sensative hit anything hard body shell will crack easily mine dint even last a week something went wrong with the gears inside motor makes a snapping noise while accelaration but value is good cant beat that.

very fast, although there is some things i did not like about it. first it didnt get good traction at all. it needs thicker tires. second it broke the third day i had it. if you run it into anything stationary going 15 mph and up. it will break. not in half but the teeth on the gears will break off. trust me, it sucks to do that. i had to take it back and get a new one. i got a brand new one within the 30 day exchange warranty and it broke 4 days after i got it. but it is one of the fastest electric cars i have ever owned. i have 4 other rc cars. do not hold it down on the ground and give it juice. that will break the teeth off too. basically i think it should be for 15 year olds and up.

Super fast. Cured the handling problems by taping two C cell batteries to the back of the chassis so you cant see them. Tracks a straight line, alot harder to spin out at top speeds. Hit a speedbump at full throttle and got the poor thing airborne. slid into a moving car. still tracks a straight line after being run over. This keeps up with my Duratrax truck, and its gas powered. I love it!
It was great while it lasted. The car is the fastest car I have ever driven for a battery powered car. It flies and I love the way it drifts. A great improvement would have been a more realistic look because the headlights and taillights are just stickers. I wasn't impressed by that. Its great how the body may seem flimsy, but is very flexible so it won't break as easily when crashed. I was careful with this one though. Somewhere along the line, one of the gears or axles inside the motor got dislocated so now if I drove, which I don't anymore, it would make a snapping noise during acceleration. This car was good while it lasted and hopefully I can get a replacement because I was impressed by the value, ease of use and somewhat the performance because it didn't last to long. I was just driving it and the snapping noise just happened. I recommend this one regardless.... just be careful.
this car is nice, the price is good, its fast and i recomnd it 4 kids 10 and up/ it handles nice
Great Car! It is not for the first time RC driver. For the money you can not beat this car. The tires need to be improved and there needs to be upgrades available....but other than that it is awsome. Oh yeah you need plenty of room to open her up...not for inside.
Are you serious? This car is the greatest thing in the history of rc cars. I hope you can still find one. My friend and I both are on our second cars because we played with them so much. We started crashing them and his car took all the damage and mine was still smoking fast. Was it the driver's fault. You decide. I say totally.

My freind had got one first. He raced against my 1/10 scale lotus and man he burn't me. I soon got one and upgraded it with HPI Pirelli tires. When I showed up to race again.I left him in the dust. It also helps for speed when you purcase the Radio Shack 7.2v 3300 mAh NiMH battery with the Ultrafast Universal charger.I love this car so much I purchase two.
I'm a 38 year old programmer... This car is not for the kids and not for the living room... very fast, very fun! Can't beat it even for 3x the price. Get one if you have a wide open road or parking lot.
this car rocks!!!!!! the performence is amazing!it could pass for gas powered!i clocked it at 27 mph!!!
this is not a good car if you like to have fun and take turns. the rear tires rip off really easy and it has a special hex hub only compatible with their cheap 20mm tires. you cannot change a thing on that car and new tires would really make it better cause it has no traction anyway. If you can grind down the hex hub to fit other wheels it will be fine.
this car is the best i believe, RadioShack has to offer. the car goes really fast and it's steering is great. i just wish they had given it a hard shell instead of this bendable thin plastic shell. other than that, if you like cars with out standing speed and performance, buy this car!!
this thing is crazy, but i think it has to much torque i can't sontrol it at full tilt. but overall i love it!!!

Hello, I got this product for Christams and I loved it. I like the fact that it is fast, fun, and that it's a ferrari. I don't like the fact that The wheels have no traction,they're racing sliks, the steering of the car is hard because it is very sensitive and does not go straight at start to high speeds. I think its a time waster that it takes a 5 hours just to charge the battery pack, and overall if the kit came with a set of 4 traction tires and the charging time was just a hour or less, AND the steering was better and not so sensitive, THEN I'd appresiate it a lot more.
Its the fastest one I've ever had, but a little too much torque.
This is a great deal for what you get. Most cars at other stores can't even go 10mph. This can go 23! I totally recomend this!

This is an awesome toy for kids 10 and up . this product is fast, performs well, looks good, and is the mostbawesome toy ever. i highly recomend it. when you by it though i suggest that you order a spare set of front and rear tires, because it is so fast when you turn the tires ware down very quickly. my car is very fast it handles great it out runs my little bros 50cc four wheeler i recomend this car cause its cheap and fast i put a hpi brushless motor and a camaro bodie on mine

Fantastic Car. My first one and its a really fast one.Ive crashed onto walls so many times and there's no damage. Its super fast and responsive.
this is a great car and come on who doesnt like a Ferrari? the speed is incredible and the handling is good at slow speeds. When you speed up the car wants to keep going forward or spin out. the body is extremely fragile and worry's me a lot. I have a lot of experence with R/C cars and would reccomend this car to be driven only inside because the motor can easily get small particle caught inside.

Incredible! This car is extremley fast, so fast that taking off if you pull the throttle all the way down it wont go straight it will just do do-nuts! Looks easily breakable but I have repeatedly rammed it into stone walls and only scracthes the cover... Strong bumpers under body!!!

im really into rc cars i race some of the real races this is the worst car ive evr seen i took it to the track and it could not even take a normal turn within 5 minutes the body of the car was in peices i do not recomend this car to anybody by the way it dont go any wear near 23 mph
this is a good car but the only good thing about it is that its really fast. I buy alot of radio shack cars and i must say that this isnt one of the best ones. the body is terrible and the tires are equally as bad. You get no traction whatsoever and anybody who thinks they know about cars will agree.
this is a perfect car any body who's looking for a fast rc car this is your toy
This car is increadible fast!!!! It is really easy to drive because it steers fast but at full speed sometimes it spins. When i was racing it in a real course and I was turning it and it oversteer and scratch with the wall and it had some yellow paint marks in the left front fender. I highly recomended

This car is ridiculously fast. Which is really the only downside. Its impossible to drive at full speed, because the turning is sensitive. However, it still is in great condition after crashing into about 7000 walls.
