I PURCHASED TWO OF THESE LESS THAN ONE YEAR AGO AND THE TALK/FLASH BUTTON ON BOTH PHONES NO LONGER WORK. WHICH MEANS I CANNOT CALL OUT. OTHER THAN THIS THE PHONE WAS NICE , BUT IF IT LASTS LESS THAN A YEAR NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

I have owned this phone (base and 1 extra handset) for over 2 years. Great value and no need for additional jacks, besides the fact that they are cordless, you can have a charger in any room that has an A/C plug. I love the copy feature, I don't have to hunt down the other handsets to enter a number I decide to save...Great Phone...too bad they are discontinuing them. I was just about to buy 2 more handsets!

I purchased this phone and an extra handset in October 2003. This is THE BEST phone system I have ever had, and just now the batteries are only holding about a 45 minute charge, however, for 3.5 years of extended use since my job entails being on the phone about 4 hours a day, I think this is great. I will be purchasing more, and would recommend these phones to anyone!!! I actually am afraid to upgrade as I have had such good luck with these phones... not one problem in 3.5 years!!!

Monitor and walkie-talkie range often limited by structures, especially in walkie-talkie mode. Cannot use as a real 2-way intercom, can only listen, other party has to be RUNG first to answer you. Cannot mute monitor without muting phone. Limited redial memory, only three. Confusing LCD interface, only tech geeks could love and understand. Not a phone for stroke victims. Message playback on remote phone always LOUD. It seems to default to the loudest setting automatically everytime. The above are minor quibbles, and the phone has been reliable. One good feature is the DND, one button and you won't be bothered. Why then did I buy this phone? It has every feature imaginable that most phone companies did away with!

I've BOUGHT lots of phones, this one and that one and they all disapoint. I bought a V-tech phone and IT was the worst. This Champagne colored Expandable phone set from Radio shack is the BEST phone I've Have ever had. I've bought four and getting THREE MORE TODAY for my older grandparents so they can have a GREAT cordless phone without needing additional outlets in their home, have caller ID, right at their finger tips, DISTINCTIVE CALLER Ring Tones and the nice extra featers such as "ROOM MONITOR" and Walkie Talkie........gotta love this phone! YOU KNOW it's great because people love it and it's being discontintued!!!!

I have 3 of these at home and have just bought 3 more for the office. They have great range, ease of use, and the best clarity of any of the cordless phones we've used. Normally I don't make recommendations, but for this phone I do make the exception. True 5.4 performance.

This is best telephone I've ever owned (cordless or corded). I have had this phone for nearly two years and I haven't had any problems; it has great range, exceptional clarity and the price can't be beat.

I had a phone that screamed in my ear, so I bought this one. I love it. I love the ring tones and memory speed dail. Then when I lost my owners manual, I got online and printed it out. Best of all, it never screams in my ear! It is worth the money.

Great Phone, Purchased This Phone In Local Radio Shack Best Phone Ever So Clear And I Will Soon Move To Bigger Place And All I Have To Do Is Buy A Exp. Handset So I Dont Have to Pay For Hefty Instalation For Jacks!

I have the base & 5 additional units. I love programing info in only one phone and you can send the info to any or all other units. The range is great I can walk about 300 yards from my house or be at my aunt's house and still recieve calls w/ this phone which can't be done with the 900 mz phones. The only draw back is the time does not change at daylight savings time like your cell phone would do. Other then that I feel the phones are great.

I have a base and 6 extension phones at my summer place. Even have 1 in my shop, across the streetfrom the house. wonderful not to run wires. Use the intercom around the 6 acres and get and make calls from outside. Buying the same system here in the Bahamas Radio Shack store for our condo. Only one outlet in a concrete bldg. Way to go. Intercom very handy here around the complex.

A great design but flawed performance. The microphone gain is so high that it distorts the audio and makes it difficult for the called party to understand the person using the Radio Shack 43.3580 cordless phone.

I was so impressed with this phone that I bought 3 more of the accessory handsets and got rid of all my other phones. I love the copy feature for copying the address book too. I'm impressed.

Excellent telephone! There is just one little minor thing with the clarity from time to time, but most of the time it is not even noticeable. I recommend this phone for mostly the range and the cost!

This is an excellent phone, and it has the best speaker of any phone I have used: great volume & clarity. I have the satellite handset which also works well. Just got another remote handset, and my daughter bought three of these after using mine. I can use the phone out to the middle of my garden a little under 275 ft. away. You can set different ringers for people who call a lot, and the screen is very easy to read. Can't go wrong with this one.

This phone is the best cordless I have ever used. It is identical to and interchangeable with(and made by) Uniden's TRU models which transmit 100% 5.8GHz from both the handset and base. Other cordless phones sold as 5.8GHz don't tell you that they only transmit at 5.8GHz from the handset to the base. The base still transmits at 2.4GHz which is no better than older phones that might interfere with wireless computer or wireless A/V equipment in your house. Also, Radio Shack's version of this phone is better than the Uniden model because the keypad is rubber and easier to feel and because the kepad is clear rubber the backlight ends up being much brighter to see in the dark. I love this phone and no... I am not a paid endorsement!
