If you are looking for a cheap "mini" r/c car, look elsewhere for one. Megatech has the same exact thing, and its still junk.

The parts are extremely brittle and are of very low quality. The suspension geometry is well below par.. its like a pogo stick suspension.

The stock electronics that come with it are also of low quality. The servo is extremely slow, and is underpowered.

WHEN parts break, you'll be back at the Shack, might as well stock up on 2 of everything. Remember its cheap for a reason, they make up for the extremely low manufacturing cost with profit on parts.

I am a DEALER for R/C Car packs and also engines. I am also a team driver for Team VTX. I've been in the hobby for a good 17 years... look elsewhere for a mini rc, such as Associated's RC18 line of product. There is a HUGE aftermarket for them, and are easily made even more durable than they are box stock.

I've always loved fast remote control cars, especially the off-road ones. When I saw this product, I immediately researched it and saved my money. I finally got enough, and took it home. I decided to get the truck (it covered the front), the 1400mAH battery, and the Quickcharger.

1 hour is a great charge time, compared to 10 hours. But the first run, it lasted 4 MINUTES! Yes, 4 minutes. I tried again, and every time, 4 minutes. It sputters, but then I can drive on streets, but it sputters. I don't know if this is normal, so I'm going to get a new battery.

I already got a new car because the front left dogbone broke, probably from going in forward then reverse at 20 mph (DON'T DO THIS!) It puts so much stress on the dogbones, eventually snapping them.

Great car, great price, horrid run time.

I bought the truck version after talking to my friends. We all decided to get one and drive around with them. First it takes 10 hours for the battery to charge (way too long if you ask me). Secend, with in 10 to 15 min. of driving it around, it started to sputer and then die. I took it back and got a new one because the guy there didnt know what was going on. Same thing happend to this one.
Therd, i had to buy a secend battery because the heat of the engain melted the cord that conected the two batterys.

i got a gas powerd rc truck and it dosn't go as fast as this one. gas powerd is way to hard to keep running I gust like to plug it in and it works buy this truck.

I first saw these cars in rccaraction (rc magazine), they looked appeiling but they weren't the rc18. I finally bought the truck, it seemed that they were getting better reviews. The rear bumper broke fast, but why would you have a rear bumper anyway. I first took it to the skate park, I took on 10 ft. jumps and it crash landed multiple times, nothing broke. These truly are great cars and I like my propulse better than my rc18. And for all those people ranting about how worried they were when they saw the orange slip in the box telling you not to take it back to the store, it also says to send it to megatech and they'll fix it for free, so stop being ingnorant.

Truck has good speed and handling for a Ready to run truck. This truck was bought for my son. He wanted a truck like mine. I have a Team Associated RC18, which is very similar in style. In the first 2 weeks of having the truck the front differential broke and the steering servo would not always turn to the right. Megatech is the manufacture you will have to service the truck though. If you purchase one of these tucks send a copy of your receipt to megatech immediately, as they will do nothing until they receive it. So if a part breaks you will be ahead of the game. If the part is electronic, it will have to be sent back before receiving a replacement. During that time you are without a truck to drive. Customer service means to me that if the product breaks under warranty fix it fast at no expense to the customer. My recommendation would be to go online or to your local RC hobby shop and find a RC18 and buy it. There are more hop up parts available and the replacement part are cheaper. I also have never had any part break on my RC18 and I am running a 6000 brushless motor that has more power and speed. I would not recommend this truck, but maybe you will have better luck.

One of [...] first attemps at a hobby grade RC. The plan: have MegaTech copy a team Associated RC18T/B. The result: thoroughly impressed considering where it came from. The motor is a bit faster than the stock Associated one. So fast that it'll surprise you the first time you pull the trigger. So fast that you can't help but brake something on it eventually. Which brings up a down side, Parts are hard to get indivdually from [...]. The cure: buy Team Associated parts (or rc18 upgrade parts) from a hobby shop. Dual motors?! no way! go brushless if it still isn't fast enough for you. The Mamba from Castle Creations can compliment it perfectly.

worst rc truck i ever had first one i drove stoped runing for no reson im driving and it just stops.i charge it and it wont go.i take it back they give me a new one and the same thing hapens the first time ai drive it.

bought the car so i can play with my kids and there cars.

these are bad they are a cheap [...] design of rc18's rc18t and rc18b don't waste your time with these the parts are to expensive and they brake really easily if you are a very good/safe driver these might be ok for you but other than that don't get these if you want more durable/faster cars with better handling get hobby grade they might be more expensive when you buy them but you will save on upgrades (and replacements)

I think its the fastest RC I ever had and the funnest.I would like to have the Pro B-100 Buggy too.I love it because it can be 500 feet away and you can still go farther and it's got great handling.

this is a really good car for its price.it may be alittle expensive but it is worth it.the mods on my car are high speed motor(good for high speed),aluminium oil filled shocks(good for adjusting suspension),spur gear and pinion gear kit(only required if u need to perfect ur cars speed),complete ball bearing set(not necessary unlike xmods),high performance micro servo(makes the car turn quicker),all terrain tyres(keep as spare when the stock tyres wear out),titanium turnbuckles and servo saver kit(good for adjustingthe turning radius of the car),driveshaft and gear box cases(has light graphite driveshaft which is good for acceleration),complete aluminium upgrade kit(not necessary unless you want to make ur car very durable).

this is a really good machine i broke the back differentials because they were grinding on cuz the shocks made it stand up to high but i put all the spacers in the shocks and it made it ride really low when i took them out witch gave it more grip and speed on the assfalt tracks

This truck is a blast. It's fast and durable. It's fun sliding in sand on the street, taking it offroad, anywhere! Wherever I go it's a new place to try my propulse! Radio Shacks best R/C ever. I also bought a buggy! One down side is sand gets in the gears occasionally but it's easy to get out. I like to test things limits and I haven't killed this truck yet. It has been two months of abuse and it is still truckin. You won't regret buying this if you like R/C or having fun. Sending this thing off jumps is always a kick. Of course any good R/C driver knows breaking parts is part of the fun when you push the limits! Good thing Radio Shack has the parts! The truck offers some more durability compared to the buggy.

This is the best RC i have ever purchased. I love all of the upgrades and it is really fast. Great deal for the price.

This truck is freaking amazing!!! It is definetly worth the money, i would buy alot more if i had the cash! This thing is alot more fun than the Xmods... trust me!

This thing rocks. The first runs must be taken with caution because my one shaock broke. I took it back and they replaced it no question asked. Though when the shocks wear in it rides completely different. Also watch those bumpers. It seems to go faster every day. I have some big huge wheels that I put on it. It did good but the motor got really hot and the battery lasted 10 minutes. I cant wait to get the dual motor kit. I would buy it again in a minute. Finally my last tip get the fast charger.

I got the truck and the motor upgrade the same day i don't know what the stock engine does but I'm keeping it just in case.P.S. I'm buying the servo saver kit but I am not goint to use it for that I'm going to give my truck custom adjustable ride hight struts instead of shocks I'll be back in a month or so to let you know how it worked

Excellent buy although I have destroyed the differential in the rear. They need to hurry and release the replacements. Also a lot of people I know need replacement Differentials too. So come on guys hurry up!!!!!!

I got this rc car yesterday and im having so much fun. It os a great truck in all but one part is not so good. The front fender is very fragel. I bearly hit the walll in my house hard and the front fender cracked right off. ps its a great truck for how much it costs!!!!!!!!

I just bought this car for my so n and he loves to drive it in the dirt because it spits up dirt everywhere it is also fun to drive in the garage cause it slides everywhere but there is one thin that bugs me is that the battery takes 10HOURS to charge and it only last for about 15-20 min max that sucks.

On my brothers birthday he got the buggy version and it was sooo fast that i decided to get the truck. I have had it for a little over a week and i had already broke the junky steering servo, both bumpers and everything was scratched up.I decided to give it another shot so i got a refund .The new one is working great.A tip is don't be rough with them

this is the closest thing the shack sells to a real r/c car. it is upgradeable and if you dont like the charge time, get a better charger. it is not for beginners, but the last step before going to a real hobby shop and paying 150+ bucks for the same thing. (rc18t) good job radio shack!

this truck is awesom im getting the dual motors,alluminum rims and blue oilfilled shocks the truck has great handling i cant wait to get more hook-ups for ill be fun.i have a bigger truck but itz slower but still prety fast.

Well like anybody else i thought the car was a rip off but i actually like thr truck i have bought many upgrades and converted to a new battery just to have longer fun you just got to invest a little bit and its real fun just like a mini gas gar

This is a great rc car for people thatlove working with their hands. At first i was skeptical at how many parts but it was easy to get use to. This is a great Truck. Tip for off road riders: In the fall, rake up leaves and run then over with a lawn mower, and ride your car in it, it is so much fun!!!!!!!!!!

I like it ,but its a ripoff that it does not come with battery and charger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am pretty new with rc cars and stuff, but this thing was awesome. Although the long ten hour charge is agonizing, this truck hauls! They need to hurry up and get the aluminum body upgrade out, my dad ran my truck over with his even bigger rc truck and broke part of my steering and suspension, after some krazy glue it was good though. Very fast, awesome to drive.

Great! little car very fast good performance takes a lot off beating i have 2 the buggy and the truck with 2 x-tra battery for more fun.parts are expensive so i went to a hobby shop found aluminum upgrade kits for them cheaper and they fit like the stock ones even better and stronger.Have aluminum shocks,aluminum body kit,blue wheels and adj.turnbukles. ps:love my r/c.

Very fast! At 1st i was really skeptical, but i bought it to try it wout with the intentions of returning it because i thought it was just gonna b a bigger version of the xmods! (which isnt bad) But i was amazed by the speed, handling, and ease of use! This thing is pretty cool! I played with it 4 like 15min, and was dying 4 more, so i went back to RS & got another battery/charger & new motor... Parts are waaaaay 2 expensive!

Accessories are expensive, but worth it. I have teh hig speed and dual motor sets, bought new tires, RIMS and waiting to buy the aluminum body upgrade kit (129.99) and shocks to comlete my car. This is by far the best RC I have bought from the Shack. Not sure about all the breaks, I have cracshed mine numerous times with out a,usually at high speeds, without a problems at all.

This is a great truck. i race xmods in a local league but i wanted something i could use outside. this did it :P. parts are a bit too pricey though.

I bought this truck and moto up grade ....out of the box ..amaizing ...new motor ..how to keep control? The world will never know.

At 30 something this is the first RC truck I have had in quite a while, after th 10 hr batt. charge The Wife & I went out to a big 'ol parking lot whre we fell in love with the performance of he truck butafter the first crash which broke myleft steering mount I have had to "crazy glue" the part together 2 times now because I have been un-able to buy a new part! If it where easier to get the parts need-ed this would be awesome RC truck. I also wish there where different decals I hadto make my own stickers for the thing so I coul tell which one was me! By the way if any one would like new stickers custom made for your truck let me know LOL

This truck is awesome. I have purchased the dual motor, Shocks & Rims. Truck is really fast now, so fast I need a new front bumper. Just waiting on the suspension upgrade. Would like th see the prices go down though, a little to pricey.

great truck need some r/c experiecnc or common sense you can do alot to this truck if you have the money skill and knowledge or it is fun just to play around with the bumpers dont last long either the shocks and dont rice it in the water or snow or your transmitter will get messed up so put a plastic bag ofer it i got mine to jump 20 30 ft until my stock shocks blew out dont get the 2 motors it gets heavy just get 1 high performance it is faster and lighter than..... GOOD LUCK!!!!

This truck has alot to offer. Just wish the body was more durable. I also think the parts are very expensive. You buy two different items you might as well by a whole new truck. The battery should last a longer than a couple minutes and have to charged it for 10 hrs. Overall the propulse truck has prefromed very well and very pleased. just put a dual motor upgrade looking to get the aluminum oil filled shocks

My teenaged sons received these for Christmas and one was broken within 15 minutes of it coming out of the box. Normally I would say that it may have been the child using it improperly, but since I was watching the whole time I can say this was not the case. We exchanged it for another one and the same thing happened.

this thing rocks. ive jumped it off an 8 foot high dirt bike jump and landed on the front shock tower and nothing broke. this is a must buy

I hav been a mechanic for half of my life and I have had some pretty good RC cars, but this one has got to be one of the best I have had. You can upgrade just about everything on it..but hte bumpers could be a little better. right now I am working on some custome bumpers that I am making out of 1/4in aluminum round rod. right now they look like miniature heavy duty Dodge bumpers. I am trying to figure out a mount made out of spring steel; so they won't break the frame if I hit something.... But all in all it is one of the best RC cars that I have had

Great RC for the money, super fast and great handeling with all the tricky trimming adjustments...very cool. We broke the bummper right away because we ran it into something solid at near max speed,(if it didn't break I would think it was alien technology) it handles most abuses very very well, and we made it tumble...and the replacment bummper was easy to get at my local Radio Shack...great product and cant wait for the rest of the line to be available. I would recommend this RC to anyone confidently.

By far the best RC product "the shack" has offered to date. I'm only an intermedaite RCer, but this truck blew me away when I first ran it! Very durable, fast, good looking, and stable. It has all the advanced features I've come to expect in a TOP RC truck. Once they get their performance/replacement parts network in place these will take off like crazy. Everyone here at work have gone out and bought one for themselves, and one of the guys has a track in his back yard that we regularly race on. I'm going to buy one for my son so we can race at home. You can't go wrong with this guy, it's money well spent.

This truck is great, everything is ajdustable, great acceleration, smooth controls, fast even stock, many parts now availible! Ordering my duel motors soon!

Fantastic RC! I had so much fun with it, even though I'm a beginner. Unfortunately, it broke within the first twenty minutes of use. The bumper is flimsy and broke on pretty much on the first crash (crashing is something all beginners will do with this car, as it has a horribly fun acceleration rate). With the bumper gone, the shocks were left exposed, and one of them broke in an especially harmful crash into a rock. Now I'm waiting for the spare shocks to be available. This is a must buy for anyone who likes rc cars, but I suggest that any beginners wait for the company to actually let you buy spare parts: the massive speed and acceleration take some getting used to. Otherwise, this is an overall fantastic car.

Very fun and fast, it take a some getting use to. We are waiting to be able to by the performance parts. We now have 2 and my boys have not wrecked them yet, that says something.

oh man this is by far the best rc car out i have been raceing and playing with rc cars all my life ans this one blows all fo them out of the water. i wasent to sure at first cuz of the size but trust me it holds it own i have beat this thing up it just keeps asking for more it is deffinalty a must buy

Being an R/C Enthusiast and RadioShack Employee I must admit....I couldnt wait to demonstrate this thing to my customers. The first time I charged it up and took it for a spin I couldnt believe what I was seeing. For a battery powered buggy this thing screams! Its super fast, lasts quite awhile on a charge and is really,really durable. I also need to mention how great the body material is. It seems flimsy at first but for a reason. It can withstand anything you crash the car into! Its tough and I love it! Ill be giving one as a gift for Christmas (to myself of course!), and Im looking forward to seeing the upgrade kits in our store! This buggy shouldnt be called the Pro-Pulse. Its more like the X-Mods Slayer!

this rc car is by far the best radioshack has to offer,its a little hard to control,but with some practice youll be jumping everything you can find,i took it to the dirtbike track where i ride and i was jumping all the jumps,the only flaw is the steering servo,its really weak,and i broke mines

Awesome. Very fast & responsive. Great battery life from the tiny batteries. Downside is long battery charge time and to fast to control without practice. An absolute blast to play with!! Can't wait until you have accessories!!
