this car is great i reccomend for anyone and everyone however if your used to buying rc's from say [...] if think again this car is way to fast for you the only con i see is you have to charge it for 10 hours with only 20 mins runtime i fixed this problem by buying the quick charger [...] its $25 it takes 1 hour to charge and runs for 20 mins it plugs into a cigerette lighter socket in a vehicle. its great!
This little car will wow you with is out of the box speed. But it is not built very well, the plastic is brittle and it breaks easy. I have spent the extra money on the full aluminum kit which is very nice but there are still alot of parts that is does not replace. Like the differential cover where the shock tower mounts to. I have the new aluminum shock tower that did not break, but the differential piece that is plastic did. [...] can not help you with this part, the company that makes them will but they are not very speedy. All said and done the car is fun but needs major improvements.

This car is awsome for beggeners and who to this hobby. But if youare the guy that buys something and then gets bored of it after a while then dont waste your money. But other wise its awsome car
awsome its acceleration is amazing but stock tires die fast
i love this buggy i have crashed it a lot and it still works great.
Love this car, some parts break easily especially the shocks there very easy to break and all the oil will leak out if they bend but overall i love this car and its well worth the price if your into rc
love the car vry fast take off , but needs a beafyer drivetrain......
Great Car for the money [@]
This buggy was awsome its great for the price and is very durable. The people u hear saying that its not good and they break easy are the ones who cant control it. I had my car for about 6 months and I broke the esc that was it just cause u would repeadily jump it of a 4 foot kicker but other than that it held up great. I recommend this product to someone who is driven faster rc's before cause it is very easy to lose control of if uve never driven an rc b4. It accelerates very fast and its not for someone with begginer skills yes it is small and its is fragile i will say that but just keep it away from walls and curbs and such and ull be great if u do plan to have this as a begginer car i suggest takeing it to a wide open place to get use to the performance of this vehical. other than that this car is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Great car. Not a toy. With this you do not need a one thousand dollar investment in the hobby to have fun.
Awesome car. I bought this and the same day went out to play with it and it was FAST! I would highly recommend to someone else.
My R/C experience started early with the normal R/C you get at big stores and radio shack. I have xmods. I've driven a gas powered t-maxx. I have a good ability to control R/C vehicles which I credit video games with too. I never wanted to cough up the $$$ for hobby R/Cs but this Propulse is in my price range. I want to say these are durable if you drive them responsibly, do nascar drivers complain that their nascar broke when they crashed it into the wall? Or for some people, do demolition derby drivers wonder why their cars is broken after smashing it into objects? The CRITICAL flaw in the propulses are the open gears which collect rocks easily. This will destroy the gears very quickly meaning you will be buying new gears more than you would like. The ironic thing is these seem to be made for dirt, which they perform great in. It is really a shame that whenever you use it where there is sand, the gears collect it and get destroyed. I replaced gears in less than a month and a half from the day of buying my propulse. I used it for about 20 runs. I have now purchased silicone used for engine sealing in cars to create a cover for my propulse. This flaw makes the propulse more difficult for the average user since you have to pick the rocks out and adjust the motor gear mesh, not to mention replacing gears. This is why I don't recommend this vehicle to my friends because they do not like fixing it so often, maybe even multiple times a run! This one flaw really makes me wonder what the designers were thinking, its such a simple thing to cover the gears, a total duh. If this problem were fixed, these propulses would be stellar.
A very good starter RC kit. I got it with the special bundle pack and its a great buy. Replaced another Radio Shack RC with this one and get almost double the speed and more choices :)
I spotted this little guy at my local [...] and just had to have one. I was impressed at how fast this thing is right out of the box. I have not had to much trouble with this nothing broken yet and I have banged into a lot of stuff the only problem I have had is the narrow slit on the bottom of the chassis the leaves the main gear partialy exposed does seem like a magnet for fine dust and fine sand. the first time I ran this on fine dirt after a few seconds of runing I was greeted with a grinding sound from the gear. 4wd doughnuts have a tendency to shoot dust into every opening and right into the moter and gears. A little tape on the bottom should do the trick thats my only gripe. The nice thing is that this is a hobby grade car you can buy parts from a hobby store and most of them will fit on here without any problem. mine already came with oil filled shocks. This a good car for kids to move up to on the way to pro rc cars.
I love it. i took it to the park behind my house to drive it in the dirt. and off some jumps.but the first jump i did it flew and landed and the back right spring came off. i just screwed it back on but i did it again. no biggy...other than that i love it my dad might even get the truck.
To bad it does not come with the batteries. It can reach speeds of 25 mph! The buggy has aton of cool upgrades.
Well to start off I will say that i am a very experienced collector of rc's. I own alot of team losi rcs and xmods and mini-z. All these cars have something pro pulse's dont have and thats durabilty and longer run time. The pricce is not worth it. for that money the battery shouda came with it. With 140 dollars(includes battery and pro pulse). I can make my xmod go twice as fast as a pro pulse. I dont recomend this car for anyone.
I bought this product w/ a geat discount (4 accessories included in the bundle offer), saving me the cost of the toy itself. I like the speed & ease of handling, shocks are great! The car can go to almost anywhere but i haven't experience bumping it on solid objects yet , i know this toy is not for crash testing! a great RC toy for beginners like me!
I race hobby grade nitro cars, the Mugen MTX-3 to be exect and I am use to top notch quality that doesnt break. I was reading everyones comments about how easy this car breaks and I have to disagree. I bought one and I took it to the beach where it accidentally got soaked by a wave, and everything continued to work just fine. I took it to a dirt road that had some rocks that were bigger than the car and hit a few by mistake and the car never broke...I flipped this car over and rolled it many times, nothing ever broke. The only thing I dont like about the car is the slack in the steering linkage but you get what you pay for and this thing is super cheap. If you look at the Team Associated RC18B, which this car looks almost identical too, this car is 50 bucks cheaper and comes with a faster motor from stock. I think this car is a great buy and I am going to start racing this and just use the RC18B parts where I can since you can buy them cheaper and individually. the key with this 18th scale is you have to remember this is an 18th scale and not a 1/8th scale buggy. You can't go completley nuts with it or of course it is going to break. Keep the scale in perspective when running this little guy and it will last a while and not break.
Awsome Car. Tons of fun. Highly recommended.
I am very dissapointed at this product. I should took the little orange paper inside the box saying"dont return to store" as warning that this car was not good quality. When I first drove it I really liked it at first, but then the car flipped over and the shock tower broke, I thought no big deal, things like that happen all the time in rc racing. So I got a replacemnet part and start driving again. i crash into a fence and both front shocks bent!So i got new ones, but then more stuff started braking! the suspention wings, the peice that holds the suspension in place, and the shocks broke OPEN and the oil leaked every were. Then the battries weren't holding there charge and the motors rpm's were being decreased with every use! Now I have invested about $300 dollars in these and now i'm left with a piece of junk car and a bunch of broken upgrades. RadioShack- you should have made these better quality and sold them for a little more! cause now im let with a piece of junk! and you can't return the store, so im stuck with it! =(
amazing car great for asfalt, dirt, jumping, grass, ect. and reasonable speeds but the tires that come with car ware fast on asfalt.
i like this car because it is one of those cars that you can start out easy and then upgrade it to your need. It is fast for its size going 25mph for a 1/18 scale car. It may not be as good as the team losi cars
I just traded a metal detector I got for my birthday for this thing. I race this car with the real cars on the street (25mph street) and it just about beats them.
this is a great car for the price but sometimes it malfunctions cause i just bought the dual engines and the gear and when i took it out it started moving on its own. i checked around if people were in the area but no one was there. but other then that the car ran great.
This buggy is a kick in the pants. Great little car for the price. I've jumped it, rolled it, flipped it and nothing has broken yet(antenna tube broke). The replacement parts are little expensive but not much more than normal.
This is a rc truck that is for beginers onley, not mutch performance, but good for beginers. Value is good too.
The best r/c ive ever owned and trust me ive owned alot!Had it for three months and I run it hard and hasnt broke.
for the price this is a nice model but like everyone has said it is a little to fragile. dogbones sheer of easily. not a basher
at first this rc car was insane i was killing it. The second day everything went wrong, the t bones broke, front rear gone i dont know it was fun for alittle bit but know its packed back up and ready to get my money back
This buggy is great.Everyone says it takes so long to charge, well buy the quick charge charger and it charges in 15min. i have this buggy with alot of upgrades on it. And i even race it. Its very fast. Put it tis way no one in my class can keep up with me. I love it.For anyone that buys it buy the 1400 mah battery rather than the 1200mah. the 1400 lasts longer. and u get more speed out of it. So go and buy one you will love it........
very fast. pretty easy to repair. VERY EASY TO BREAK!!!! my 2nd car just got damaged so much i gave up on repair. drive it normal on pavement and it will still break!!!! my 1st car had the rear differential gears stripped and u cant replace that!!!!
Awesome! good speed, great handling and an even better price! Just got mine and love it. It beats all my other R/C's in speed and durability. Overall great buy and great to upgrade. put a brushless motor in it and it will go much faster. great for the intermediate racer!
Waste of time and money PROS: Looks cool CONS: battery life is horrible it has to charge for 10 hours and in return you only get a 10 minute run time For the price it should come with the battery Dont get me wrong i had fun will it lasted but its just not worth it. THIS IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY DO NOT BUY THIS OR THE TRUCK!
A very nice car. Best R/c race car i ever bought had it on the track for a few hours works great. still using stock suspention has ot broke yet best car ever
This Buggy is awesome! I took it out of the box and charged the battery and the very next day I was ripping around in the street! This is an excellent buy if you are new to the sport of RC.
Exact copy of the Team Associated RC18B. Put a brushless motor in it and itll go about 50 to 60 mph
This car is awesome. Compared to similar rcs out there, this the best choice. What makes it tops is the fact that I can upgrade it
I got the truck at about 10 oclock today...at 11pm I was loving it!!! moves fast, I was shocked, maybe I just got one with no factory defects! but mine is fast. I have just about every x-mod car and part you can buy and my T-100(truck) is ten times faster!!! and has not broke yet!!! but I must say I have been racing r/c cars sence I was about 6yrs old. just be carfull. Try putting a mini wireless cam on top pretty sweeeeet!!!!!! Have Fun!
the beat r/c I have ever played with my buggy broke I just send it to megatech and they fixed it for free
Fast & breaks easily ,have broken 3 shocks so far due to lack of bumper protection as well as stripped out the drives and thats without any mods nice car but would spend the money on a car thats better built.
This truck really moves. It is so quick that our 5 year old has a hard time controlling it. It handles well and is not as expensive as the kits you buy at hobby stores.Good Luck and be prepared for a fast and reckless first drive.
This this is FAST (stock). Replacement parts cost too much and my electronics are buggy/glitchy.
This is a good RC for someone who is getting bord of the slow RC's and wants something faster WARNING DO NOT TRY TO GO AS FAST AS POSIBLE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX the controls take some getting used to.
THE TRUCK IS AWESOME TO USE BUT THE PRICE FOR THE PARTS THAT I PUT IN IS VERY EXPENSIVE. ONCE I BOUGHT THE UP GRADES FOR IT (ALUINUM) IT HAS BEEN GREAT. IT DOES NEED A UPGRADE FOR THE BUMPERS. OVER ALL GREAT FOR THE BEGINNER.
Breaking parts is part of the hobby! For the price, it's an awesome buy! For you guys breaking and buying new ones...why not just replace the parts???
yes its fast and handles good but it breaks easy! Ive had 3 of them and Im returning it not to get another one!! better off going to a hobby shop to get one that can handle a track jumps and roll overs..
not a bad car when it comes to speed and handling, but the durability is horrible. im on my 4th one now b/c the servo keeps breaking. i wouldnt recomend it.
This R/C Buggg is a great buy for beginers. It would be nice to see more assesories for the Pro Pulse line of R/C vehicles available in Radio Shack.
driveshafts break to easily poor design
it is a very good buggie but the only problem is that the diff gear went up
This car is awesome. It is defentily not a inside toy. I also own a RC helicopter and the car might be alittle better
Great car. i got it for christmas and it was un-believable. it is so fast. no problems. just be careful off jumps. i hit a small bump in my driveway, and it flipped in the air, landed on the front end and broke the suspension tower in the front. Great car.
I picked up the buggy last week and I'm thrilled with it. The 10 hour battery charge time kinda stinks, but it stays charged quite well, and the buggy doesn't even start slowing down until the battery is almost dead. The performance is quite pleasing, though. The buggy is very responsive, quick, and will go just about anywhere. I've taken it off 6 foot drops and it keeps on going just fine. I only wish that they would include a few extra parts. The clips that are used to hold the body on are quite easy to lose, but I think replacements could easily be found at a hardware store. Having a few spare bumpers would be nice, too. ...or maybe even an aluminum bumper kit. Both my brother and I (He's got the Pro-T100 truck) destroyed the front bumpers on our first run. Other than that, I'm quite thrilled with the buggy (and my brother is quite thrilled with the truck). This is definetly Radio Shack's finest RC product that they have ever sold.
Junk!, front suspencion arm snapped off within 3 minutes driving, just running large turns in a cul-de-sac! Let's hope the service received in store when returning this broken item is more satisfactory than the quality of this product.
Picked this up today and out of the box had zero problems. I charged it for about 2 hours, and tore up a local parking lot. The deal going on right now makes it a great buy.
I think that they should have done some more homework before rushing it out the door just in time for christmas! I had to exchange mine 3 times before i got one that half way works. During use the throttle trigger starts to turn the wheels and i dont have any throttle!?!? It just sits there dead, then it comes back to life. Iwish i wouldnt of bought it you just dont know when it will work. And as for the 24/7 tech support, forget. it is junk dont buy it!!!!!!!!!
we quickly noticed that this car looks a lot like the Team Associated RC18B buggy. Great acceleration, but the steering servo seemed a bit weak on the model we tested. this may have been a small production flaw, but that didn't stop us from tearing up the local track. appearance could certainly have a more aggresive look. The price of the Pro B-100 RC Racing Buggy is okay, but a near-identical(and possibly superior)RC18B Buggy can be had for the same price. the Pro B-100 RC buggy is simple to control, and we recomend it for beginning to intermediate drivers.
this buggy go super fast and the battery last three times the regular ones. good reaction time, good steering, sweeeeet pick up. hot christmas buy, get it now!!!!!!!
This thing is amazing right out of the box. I am a hard-core r/c enthusiast and Radioshack employee. This thing out of the box with hang a wheelie as long as you can control it, and it extremely fast. easily upgradable from propulse to make one monster of an r/c buggy.
