Its The Best! There are a lot of accesories for the Zune! Oh, butt the new Zunes are totally Awesome to!
I have been playing with my new Zune 30g Black for about... 8 hr or so. I must admit, I was quite skeptical when I bought it because I read all the reviews (good and bad) and I was pleasantly supprised! Wheres the clunky software I heard about? Wheres the horrible battery life I heard about? If you've used microsoft software before using the zune software will be a breeze. All microsoft software works about the same (IMO) and this was about the same. The page design is GORGEOUS, very clear, everything is set up by section; for your player, collection, ect.
Follow the instructions, do not plug in the player untill the software is installed. If you fallow the instructions I don't see why you'd have ANY problems, I didn't. I heard some concern about errors in the program working w/ windows XP, however, I have not experianced any glitches. The Sound is very nice, the video is very nice, and the menu is INCREADIBLY easy to navigate. It does not use a "click wheel" but directional buttons, these are rather nice as the buttons flip with the screen (bottons will be oriented as they were when the screen flips so you can watch in landscape) it didn't even take me a whole minute to figure the whole thing out. The software is drag and drop, it automatically detected all my music and I was able to sync all of it (CTRL+A and drag it to the zune Icon at the bottom) in way under 1 minute (500 some odd songs).
Very very impressed and happy with my purchace, Zune has a new fan. My previous MP3 players have been Creative Zens (Zen, Vision, ect.) and the software is MUCH more simple than the zen. I will admit, podcasts take alittle while to sync, i've only sync'd video podcasts so i'd assume that's to be expected.
I bought this and I was sure it would let me down.
I will tip my hat to Microsoft on this one, Good job guys, the sound is great, the battery life (if you turn off wireless, adjust your screen brightness and backlight timer - like with ANY video MP3 player -) is very nice, and the video quality was a pleasant supprise, and come on... Look at that Screen! Overall, 5/5!
I use my zune in my car and on the train. It works great once you find a decent transmitter. Don't buythe zune transmitter. Monster has one that works better. I love the fact that I have the choice of listening to the radio or my on tunes. Traded up from a zen so i love it
It is a great product the worse thing about it is the battery life isnt very good
this zune is great all my friends say "can i see it?" i always say "no its to great and u might smuge the screen.

Zune is AMAZING! I was deciding weather to get a Zune or I-Pod video and I am SO happy I picked Zune. It is 100x better than an i-pod video including my features like: bigger screen, brighter screen and has a built in radio. I admit it is confusing in the begging to set up but once you get past that part, it is the best thing out there.

Ten times better then Ipod.
GET A CASE my friend broke his screen by simply dropping his the day after he got it i have dropped mine several times now but i had a case on it every time.
Also the software takes some getting used to.
i use itunes to organize my music then i put the music into zune cause its a pain to organize your music with the zune software.
at [$] for either ipod or zune, u get more for your $. U lose about an hour of batter life from a idod to zune (est 14hrs down to 12.5hrs), but u get a bigger brighter screen. The fm tuner is clear and can scroll through many presets. [...], I highly recommend it over an ipod. [...].
Very Good 1 great thing about ZUNE is it has a FM radio and ipod dont. You can watch videos on the side of the ZUNE. VERY DETAILED Great View All PEOPLE NEED ONE!!!!!!
this zune is great but it does not inculed a batterie charger
I like my zune it is a great thing to own.ipods are just to over rated once you buy and see how much better they are you'll want to switch.I like how you can send stuff from one zune to another zune it is really fun.But it can be really slow if you have a slow computer but thats the computer not the zune.It is easy to download songs and pics.I say if you own a ipod sell it save up some money and buy a zune>:)

great product
i bought the zune.much beter than the ipod i had. its screen is much bigger than the ipod30.i used to own.sound is much better. videos play great with the zune.zune is a must to buy. i pod no.
The best mp3 yet
The zune is a great devise. IT is alot better than the Ipod. starting with the obvious Larger screen. It has an Fm Radio which the ipod dosent have. The operating software on the zune is alot easier To keep organized as opposed to the ipod. You can import high quality WMA's and WMV as well as MP4 or mpeg video. with the ipod you need a third party software to get such a thing done. i think that the ipod is very over rated. the zune is a better overall Media player. Even the software if simple. the only thing is that if u have a slow computer then it might affect easyness but other than that its great. i baught mine and showed many people who had ipods and guess what they also have zune's now .
Twice as good as the ipod video. cost the same, has the same amount of storage space but has better sound and picture quality. the screen is much bigger too and it isnt as hard as they say it is to download music.
The Zune is amazing, from the insanely large screen compared to iPod video, to the great sound quality. Someone mentioned that you can only use windows media video format videos, but there is a very easy software converter available that solves this problem very quickly. I also have the home A/V pack, so I can connect it to my TV to watch the video stored on the Zune, and use my surround sound too. The A/V bundle comes with a remote control too, so you can lay in bed and control your music. My overall rating: Fantastic! Thanks Microsoft. =)
Got it as a xmas present. Very easy to use. It's an awesome device! Love it! Prefer this over Ipod.
i had one and took it back. too bulky and wasn't easy downloading music. very complicated. i have an ipod now and it is awesome, easy to download and not troublesome like the zune. plus the zune is way overly priced. i would think twice before you invest the money. it depends on the person also. it suppose to come with bells and whistles, but i didn't see anything that impressed me after i got it home. ipod is much better!!!

The Zune rocks. Its music and video is perfact, so clear. I would not go any where with out it!!!!!!!!!!
It's okay. I'm only keeping it because it was a present from my dad. DONT BUY IT!!! The only videos you can put on it are nothing; the only ones on it are the ones that the company already put on it. The earphones hurt your ears. I have big ears and they hurt when i had put in the earphones. The battery dies really quick! I had it charged for 5 hrs. and it died in 2 hrs.! I have the Ipod shuffle the first model and it stinks but I'm sticking with it and never using the Zune. You don't recieve instructions either. The software froze my computer five times and it also shut down my computer! If you love the person that you are getting a Zune think twice about getting this.

been an i-pod owner for 4 years the 60gig photo then to the 30gig video.i like the ipod but i like zune more why? bigger screen less likely to scratch an i like zunes software took a bit to get used to (used to i-tunes) but less then an hour in i was a pro tranfers music from i-tunes with ease an video was a snap so if you are tired of the trendy i-pod. look to zune you will be glad you did i know i was
I LOVE it it kills the Ipod by miles. From the BIG screen to the WIfi so me and my friends download each other songs. But its a little big but thats ok with me i have big hands
i barely bought the zune today! and i been using it it all morning i love it!! its better than an ipod and i have one too!!
