This product is great. i dont know why people are talking bad about it, i bought it for myself and my borther saw it and got one also.The speakers are great and the alarm clock is easy to setup if you knew how to work your ipod. For the money this is the best thing i have bought and i use it everyday.

This product sound pretty good considering the size of those speakers, BUT i have my IPod bass boosted all the way and it still has bed bass. overall, i would say that it sounds great, for the price. some things to note: the screen stays on whenever it is docked, which makes the alarm clock feature a lot less use able.

So right on design ! Superb..
So good sound for the money. 5-stars!

But !
I want to have it dark when I sleep, how good could it be for the screen to be turned on all the time ?
Almost impossible to set up.
The manual is not more than a big joke!
This product is so near to be a really big success, but it falls flat when you "try" to use it as it's intended to be used, as an alarmclock.
If you want to have a really nice player with speakers to the office or home then this is the right product, but not as an alarmclock.....

This is a horrible product design. The speakers sound decently loud, but that's IF you can set it up. the directions are awful, and even when you get the controls down, the thing will still beep occassionally for no reason whatsoever. The backlight NEVER turns off. Simply AWFUL for an alarm clock, and it's just a sub par speaker.

The video screen on your ipod is all ways on as long as you have it docked. That has to be bad for the video screen and it does not make it easy to close your eyes and sleep. This thing is getting returned for my money.

This has to be so so close, but yet so far. I was happy on how great the sound was but, that light on all the time not good. I've gone to settings on the Ipod and tried lowering the brightness and that has helped a bit. I'm hoping that Accurian will be able to fix the bug.

I think that this is easy to set up, if you follow the instructions literally, and it is quite loud, if you need it to be. The whole, "Press the Snooze button repetitively" step confused me, but beyond that, I figured out how to set the machine up rather quickly.

get a sun tan from the light on all night long
use it as a night light for my kids room

This iPod alarm clock/media player is nice, but can't compare to other higher quality items (such as the iHome). It's pretty nice for people that want a temporary alarm clock/media player until they can purchase a better one, or people looking for simple low-medium quality media player.
This little thing is great for a traveling charger/speaker, especially at this price. I haven't located another reliable travel iPod charger/speaker for less. I thought the alarm would be a bonus for me, but forget about it. I can't figure out the alarm at all. The manual is terrible. Ease of use is strange. Display light is always on and the clock display on a nano is small.
You can't use this for an alarm clock because the back light control is disabled on the ipod so that they ipod is lit all night....so DUMB. it s so bright there is no need to turn on a light. WHY, WHY, WHY. Also the volume is disabled....so you have to use the knob on the back. no as simple as using the volume control in the ipod...Finally the device is so light that you can't click the menu on the ipod without knocking it over. That means you need two hands to skip a song or get to another menu or you wll knock it over. Then the snooze button is often hit and the sound turns off. It doesn't turn back on when you hit the snooze a second time, so you have to pull the ipod in and out quickly to get the sound back. Dumb...They should have left the controls ALL functional and made the thing a little bigger and heavier. It was a great concept that fell short. Oh, I guss I should also mention that the regular sized ipod is taller than the clock so you cna't see the snooze button to hit it if you wanted to sleep in a brightly lit room anyhow...dumb. These things could be easily fixed and anyone who ones and ipod would have done better, you would think...

It has a lot of possibilaty but its short on delivery. The backlight of the Ipod Never goes off and setting the Clock is not the easiest thing in the world to use.

This is a good product, but make sure you realize before purchasing that if you have an ipod mini, you will not be able to set a song as an alarm. You can still listen to your songs through the speakers, but the alarm will only beep with the ipod mini.
I just love this iteam. for the price it sounds better than most of the speakers out there.

Great product! better then my IM5 and can serve double duty as an alarm clock. It is the single best ipod things i've purchased.
