Compared to the [...] speaker that costs $150.00, this one rocks! Great poolside and truly weather-proof. For [$], you can't beat it!
I have two of these units hooked up to computer. As long as you have the transmitter and the speakers set to same channel they work great!
I wish it had more range but it works. I plan on adding 2 more so i can have music completely around my building with out wiring!!

I wanted to take the audio from my computer and audio system anywhere in my house or outside on my three acre property. I just wanted sports play-by-play or background music, so a single mono speaker was perfect. The sound quality is very good and transmit distance is excellent. The unit is a little bigger than I needed, a little heavy with batteries installed and I wish it had a handle, but these are minor problems. Built-in battery charger is a nice feature.
I purchased this product to use with my computer for internet radio listening around the house. It performs even better than I hoped with excellent sound quality and complete ease of use.
I am 100% satisfied!

This was the most attractive of the outdoor wireless speaker systems I found - not much into the speakers encased in fake rocks. I bought two units and placed them outside in the courtyard. Hooked up one transmitter to my Pioneer receiver - BOTH units recieve the signal from the SINGLE transmitter and work fine at a distance of ~35 feet. No extra cords or splitters necessary. The sound is pretty good given the price, volume is appropriate for the application - the cops won't be dropping by to tell you to turn it down. Not quite Bose quality, but no wires, no drilling through walls, and 5 minutes to install. [...]
OMG. When i bought this speaker i was wondering if it would do what u wanted it to do. The reason i bought this was because i wanted speakers out at my pool. Well I hooked the transmitter up into my XM Radio in my house and my pool is like 250 feet away and i plugged the speaker in and it instantly came on. I was surprised by the sound quality. It sounds better than a Bose i think... Good Bass and Treble Quality. I love this speaker. I am going back to the store and ordering more for my friends for gifts...
Speakers work well until there is 30 seconds of silence and the transmitter automatically turns off. Then you get static pops until the player produces sound again to turn the transmitter back on. If there were a way to keep the transmitter from turning off after 30 seconds of silence, I would recommend it, however mine is going back to the store since this isn't an option.
This product is a great value. I plugged the transmitter into my Bose stereo. The speaker's sound quality is amazingly good, considering the price of this unit. My need was for a speaker at about a 20 ft. range from the transmitter.....and I am very happy with the result. I was willing to pay more money for a different brand, when I checked Radio Shack's website and discovered this product (which I was able to purchase at a local store, and on sale, even!).
if you want short range with minimal interference application only. more than 30 ft and it goes south.
Except for the fact that it's mono. This speaker works as promised. Good sound, easy installation and great range.
Excellent quality and surpassed my expectations regarding wireless outdoor speakers. Great sound by the pool with multi-directional listening areas.
For what it is, it delivers as promised. After a quick set-up I was listening to music from my PC in my back yard.
Bought this unit last May, and I've been completely satisfied with it. I've hooked it up to a ROKU Soundbridge for listening to the internet radio and it's performing perfectly. I'm trying to find out if I can purchase just another speaker to work with my existing one to put in another area at the sametime, but so far no luck.
easy installation and great sound, even outdoors far away from the transmitter inside the house. Previously owned wireless units were not even close to this performance.
We wanted to be able to listem to music outside and not have to move speakers or a self unit so I purchased this unit on 5/1/06, took only 5 min to hook up the unit to my Bose system. I was very impressed with the sound and clarity. A real great value and a simple way to expand any system and bring the music to where ever you go.
Hard to believe such outstanding quality at a modest price. Top shelf!!!
