I've boughten 3 of these babies 3 years ago. all still working. I've brought them everywhere, From home, garage, parties, weddings, camping, trucks, bon fires, indoors, outdoors, and everywhere else. These things are heavy duty and can take it. On one of the amps the left channel goes out every now and then for a min, but if you turn up the music it goes back up. Sounds really good, but distortion levels are high (10% @ 70 watts, and it says it can go to 250 watts), and I would not recommend using it with expensive speakers. good for begineers. I recommend an EQ though and turn down the 1.6 Khz - 6 Khz Range -3db kinda loud when in bridged mode. very good power supply (full wave rectifier mounted on heat sink, good design) and oversized heat sinks so it won't ever overheat, even in the summer time when I've used it all night in 95 Fahrenheit. Never overheated once. Just be careful, don't bridge it in 4 ohms, only 8, or it will shut down right in the middle of a song. I'm happy with it's performance.[@]

I am really suprised. A real quality sound for [$]. I didnt think it would produce a quality sound for music. But it does and has Lots of power. I do recomend an EQ or Mixer.I am really picky when it comes to sound and i passed this amp up several times because i am not high on radio shack audio equip unless it is older stuff but wow this amp is a steal for the $. I might get another for this price

I work with many makes and models of pro & consumer audio & video products in various environments for home to business & community applications. This unit was purchased to support a multipurpose conference room at a large manufacturing company. The PA 250 is awesome. Extremely versatile! It's loaded with features, is rugged and really sounds great from the mike channels to the CD/Aux inputs. Highly recommended! The blue illuminated knobs and meters are cool too! Radio Shack has really come up with a great product with outstanding value for a wide ranging scope of sound reinforcement applications.

Pros:
Easy to use, Good performance, Good Value, Reliable

This is one of the best amps, it have seen!!! A R/C club that I am a part of bought this amp to make announcements at races that we put on. As you can imagine, 10 Nitro powered R/C cars can be a bit loud. This amp has no problem getting over these cars as they scream at top RPM's. I would highly recommend this amp to anyone!!!

Pros:
Easy to use, Good performance, Good Value, Reliable

This thing is the bomb. I currently own three units that I use for smalll gigs. It handles the mics and the music at all volume levels very well. They even work well in conjunction with my 3 hd1800 carvins powering 12 speakers in all. They fill in the dead spots in a large setting and still sound great.
