I throw local dance parties and after much searching I found these jewels I was on a budget however was concerned with what you would get at a low price. I was shocked fantastic sound quality. I plan to upgrade to the 15's same brand soon for a bit more base but these are fantastic had over a year love'em. Footnote been to other parties with more expensive speaker/monitor(s) these can hang with for a guarter of the price!!

Well to be honest I only bought a pair of these because they were in my price range. We have a local band we are putting together and I bought a 100 watt Peavey PA. My bass was over powering our guitar player as well as the vocals. I used them the same day I bought them, they were a no-brainer to hook up and in less than 1 min. We were running our guitarist and vocals through these awsome little gems. I had to crank my Kustom bass amp to it's max to keep up with the sound. They produced a clean crisp sound with unreal lows and kick(you know what)highs which supprised me. We were recieving feedback as to our sound up to 4 blocks away!! WOW and for only [$]a piece. Next week I'm going to add my bass through it as well as another mic to me this will be the true test of great low hitting sound. We were going to just use these for our practice and go with a larger pair for our gigs however so far they will be more than adiquite for our gigs as well. Keep producing these quailty monitors guys!Great Job!!

I bought these as a replacement for my blown pa speakers and these speakers sounds so much better than the original speakers. The 30 ounce magnet gives a the speaker a nice bottom end and the horn tweeter adds a natural presence to the music. I use it mostly for vocals and the speakers can handle more than it's rated watts so I can be heard over the drums and guitars. It's a compact powerhouse.

I am buying these with the intent for playing movies in the back yard with a video projector (back yard drive-in). These are perfect: good sound, light weight, great price and it doesn't take much power to get these going!! They are a nice, small speaker with a speaker stand socket (bonus, it wasn't advertised). When someone talks, they don;t all sound like James Earl Jones. Cheap 10" speakers tend to do that (which is annoying especially when chicks talk). They project well, even under low power. I wouldn't replace my home speakers with them, but I wouldn't take my home speakers outside either. I could've spent twice that on 'pro' speakers but I don't have to. I do agree that a simple handle would be great, but I know where the hardware store is.

so... i picked these up about 3 yrs ago through my local store (the manager was a buddy of mine and he made it easy to buy) with the intention of a small, simple mobile DJ company.

guess what... now they are the sole performer of a entertainment jockey company that has expanded to regional status with karaoke and video.

i've taken on the big boys with my 300W of amp power and 125W output - inside, outside, running off generator power or on a stern wheeler on the columbia river, these pack enough clean punch to rattle the windows and cut through a train wreck at the same time.

recent expansions will add a second pair to the same system.

i leave all the local big boys scratching their heads, trying to figure out how i can put such high decibels with so little power. i have successfully taken on 1500-3000W and overpowered the competition.

Great Speaker For A Small System

This is a really nice pair of speakers for a mobile DJ or PA Professional. Great where you only need a small amount of reinforcement or have a very limited, tight set up space. My only complaint is they should of added a handle somewhere. I will probably add my own; will very easily mount on top. Again, I don't want to knock the product; I just need handles for my own applications. They also fit great on a pair of Ultimate Support Stands with the built in adapter on the bottom. Also, these are very lightweight and sound really, really good. We work with PA equipment from the likes of Peavey, Yamaha, and others and we were all really impressed. [@]. Thanks!
