Using 4 cameras but need to connect to AC line for practical long term monitoring. 2 cameras have failed LEDs (one still has 6 LEDs working). Electrical interference is a problem when running a microwave or if there is wirless internet service nearby. Except for the LED failures, does perform as advertised.
camera doesnt manueveur enogh to see what you want to see
Impressed on 9 volts for about 10 hours. Batteries ran out and did not get to running extension cords through attic for 6 months. Power is now ready to distribute easliy through attic via extesion cords. Very Impressed. Want two more fast.
Purchased for my bed ridden mother so she can see outdoors. Works really well. You can see at night with the built in IR LEDs up to 30 feet away. Good color. Range is about 100 feet inside a brick home. Just bought a outdoor antenna so I can mount additional cameras for this system. Very impressed.
Camera has a good picture. Had to run an electrical outlet, no big deal. Had to use channel 2 because someone else has one on channel one. The IR works great.
Wiring must be ran for electrical power up of camera. It is very difficult to get a true color picture. If the transmitter is located close to other electronic equipment, rolling lines in the picture are a problem.
all led,s burn't out total waste of money unless you invest in 9 volt batterys you plug the unit into 110 volts if you have to plug it in you might as well run cable and by a reliable unit
There are 4 channels, you can select the channel with the optimal reception for one camera, or add multiple cameras, the system has a setting to loop all 4 channels, but not 2 or 3 at a time, I recommend adding all 4 cameras if you are going to use it as a multicamera system. 4901058 is the product number for the additional cameras. All in all... it's a great product and night vision is dependable.
My unit and camera works good as home security cam. Microwaves and 2.4 gig phones do cause problems. I went to 5.+ GHz phone and all works well.
the antenna must be within 2 feet of the camera or it will flicker and the camera base does not stay tought so the camera never will never point at what you want it to. pointed
