I live in East Texas and we have a bad problem with feral hogs. They were tearing my yard to pieces. I would get up at 11:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. just to look for pigs, maybe catch them in the act. Sometimes I would see them and be able to shoot a couple but I was usually just losing sleep. The first night I used this product it went off at about 10:00 p.m. I snuck out on my patio and, sure enough, there was a whole herd out there. Now, no more lost sleep. When it goes off, we are having pork sausage the next day. This is probably not what this product is intended for but it works great.
I was able to stop kid's from braking in to my car's. Boy were they surprised! LOL.
Use to monitor drive traffic, and get early warning. Has momentary switch closure to hook to doorbell chimes/buzzer. Also, built circuit from outdoor motion detector that will turn on lights in the house for 10-20 seconds (until lightning burned it up so have to repair it). The momentary switch triggers the timer in the motion detector circuit.
Wouldn't be without this warning system, and has worked well for 3? years.
Do recommend to anyone.
Installed 2 motion sensors in a vacant house. Located the base unit in a house 100 feet away. The system would not work. Very disappointing. Returned unit to store and am searching for another system else where.
I bought this for my nursery next to my home, so that if i was at the house i would know if someone pill into the parking lot, as opposed to me checking every 2 minutes. This thing has been wonderful. I have had it set up for about 2 weeks.
One word of advice, read the directions! i almost returned it because it would pick up people and not cars. If I had read the directions carefully it tells you to set up sensor 10 to 20 feet away to pick up cars (cars are larger objects and it cant pick them up 2 feet away) I wasted half a day because of my carelessness. Since then,it has worked like a charm.
I do need to find out what to add to it to make it louder as i cant hear it real well from the other end of the house. It has a place to plug a buzzer in, im just not sure what to get. Product is well worth the price i paid.
I needed a product that would detect the movement of a family member that is dangerous to others and theirselves. In less then 2 nights they show me how to move slowly enough where two sensor aim at that location would not detect them.

I used this unit at work during slow season (nothing much to do).I can monitor my supervisor coming at the door.I have enough time to put aside my portable TV while watching or using my Laptop or reading newspaper before he comes into my office. If you buy this--Be careful installing the transmitter's and the reciever's battery because all the component inside the enclosure can easily fell apart.Be careful the antenna wires-they can easily break unless you have a soldering gun to solder in case they do break.Sometimes I used the silent mode (Red light Flash)not the Buzzer to make more quieter.I can now have enough time to get up and pretend that I'm doing something. He always make comments--Great job---Good job.I wish he will give me a raise.
If every home owner had opportunity to enjoy a demonstration of this unit.. They'd all have one.
This was money well spent. Mine is 4 years in operation with Zero problems at about 960ft range with trees / terrain. It is easily hidden and weather resistant. Long battery life. Expandable up to 4 sensors and can 'trigger' additional devices up to 10amps!
I bought this to warn me if anyone entered the back yard. We have noticed some theft of small items. It actually works very well. I had to make small adjustments to prevent the false alarms, but it helps us sleep at night.
I plan on ordering a few extra sensors to expand to the entire yard.
I use this at my home as a detector, it is small and all that I need to alert me of anything outside. It is programmable if you use more than one sensor, such as the number of beeps that sound, depending on which sensor is alerted, however I haven't programmed that yet, it does the job alerting me of anything outside. So far, it appears to be a very good product. [...]
Had this system for about a year now,and I'm happy. It lets me know when vehicles enter or exit my perimeter reliably.Has several internal dip switches that may require some technical knowledge, and you may find yourself repairing the soldered external antenna wires if you aren't careful, but otherwise the system is very reliable, very efficient.Does what it claims to do.
Very good product and very good range. My drive is 1/10th of a mile long and the Reporter works great.
Have used this product for sometime and am pleased with the performance and price. Had previously used another brand at over twice the price. Some false alarms (spiders, plants, animals) but not a problem. Also when travelling have set the unit up in my car/truck in motel parking lot to notify of break-in.
small size, but works, no accessories available such a light , chime horns, Not loud enough. Good idea but not developed. Will probably return it.
Have 4 eyes. A+ for security. I immediately know when service people arrive in my yard and their location by the # of beeps per eye. Just point eyes toward a solid surface, swab the sensor eye area with Q-tip sprayed with bug repellant and it will work well and bug free. Picks up big game in the middle of the night...like coyotes, raccoons, possums and the occasional midnight zombie. Yikes!
This product works much better than others at comparable price. I had it for at least four years at the bottom of my steep long driveway. It's the only one of its kind with that range.
It takes quite a bit of tweaking to get it to detect cars and people and not to send false alarms. But ones you get it tweaked, you're set.
Finally, spiders like to go in the transmitter's hole triggering the alarm constantly. I had to remove the spider (who would come back) and put a clear plastic rap to cover the hole. I had that issue one summer.
And yes, the beeping every few minutes means that the battery needs to be replaced.

We bought this for our office to tell us when someone was coming in the door. The box it came in was in poor condition, you could tell it had previously been returned. And we could see why. After setting everything up, we went to test it and you could bearly hear the alarm sounding. The building is only 1800 Sq.Ft, but you couldn't hear the unit from only 100 ft away. Took it back and bought another motion sensor [$] and it works great.
I mounted the sending unit on the toolbox in the bed of my Company truck, aimed at the tailgate. The alarm sounds if anyone reaches into the truck bed to try to steal anything, but with it aimed at the tailgate I don't get false signals from traffic or people walking by. It has worked flawlessly for several years now, with very few dead batteries. My truck parks about 500 feet from my apartment and the signal is strong. I also have a second unit mounted on the steps to my apartment, aimed at a wall to detect anyone approacing my door without giving false alarms for any other movement. If anyone has trouble with this unit it is probably a lack of knowledge about motion detection. I highly recommend this system. note: I also wired in a flashing LED light to the base unit's built in switch - easy to do and now I get a visual signal as well!
The comment about the beep every 7-8 minutes is likely from the 9v in the base unit being dead, mine did this and I found it to be dead, replaced the 9v and problem solved.
This unit has worked far better than others I have tried, tho not perfect - which, for the price, I would expect it to be. Had it 3 years and let the senders batteries die. Put fresh in and now the thing makes a beep, not the alarm, every 7 -8 minutes. Won't even detect a UPS truck anymore. Anybody have a fix for this - or an email for the Co. that makes the device?
Sometimes the alarm doesn't go off. Most time it does. It alerts us to visitors which we really love.
My system fails to alert us about 10% of the time.

Rain does effect ours at times. We have to go out and tap it to get it to work after some rains. It does activate when dogs and other wild life pass by too. But its worth it for when company drive up our 800ft driveway. Messy House Cleaners 5minute warning is great!!!!
Works great!!! Sensor covers both driveways fine. It's so nice to know it is there, and that it works.. I have the warning to intruders. A+
When it got cold, stopped working. I blamed the sensor, then felt foolish to find that alkaline batteries dont work in the cold. Put in photo lithium batteries and it now works like a champ. Also, had it facing a plant that moved and caused false alarms. After I repositioned it, no more false alarms. What a fantastic product. Thanks guys, and sorry to blame you for my own lack of understanding!!! Z
Works well, but alarm is to weak. Can't hear it. Have to pay more for plug-ins..
Functions OK but disappointing for the amount spent. First impression was chessy construction for the money. Product range claims to be 120 degrees field of vision but hasn't performed in that range more like 25 degrees. I installed one unit over the front door and I get False alerts occurring on my U.S. flag I have mounted on the side of the door when the wind blows. I think it would be worth the value if it were priced half of the amount.
Yup, a little pricey. But the reason I bought it makes it worth the price. The best protection from an intruder or other "organization" while you are home is an early warning. The Reporter has a very good range. I have added another chime to the relay contacts on the back. I bought this system with three extra sensors because it certainly appeared that the manufacturer responded to all of the reviews. e.g. on/off switch, mute. Nice addition to the RS security system.

Bought a set a year ago. Adding another sensor to it this week because the system caught a man tring to steal my bike from the back yard. I live in a good neighborhood, but things can happen. This unit works PERFECT. I had another make, which false alarmed all the time and I junked it. This thingis still running on the batteries I put in it a year ago. Good stuff, made in America... wow
Works great! Just remember to use LITHIUM batteries in cold climates. They cost more but last far longer, so it balances out.
The material/fit/design is less than stellar. Sensors run on batteries so they go into "sleep" mode for about 5-8 seconds then wake-up to ping the area. I bought this for a yard gate and I am able to sneak-in before the alarm goes off. Sensor range said to be 5-25 feet but more like 5-15. But easy to use, looks like it will weather well.

Best driveway sensor I have ever had. If it goes off something is definatly in front of it and I like how I can add another for my other driveway. Great product!!!

This is the first driveway sensor system that has worked right. I don't get false alarms from wind etc.

I live out in the country and have a 600 foot long curving hilly driveway and I have installed the transmitter at the base of my driveway. The receiver picks up the signal through walls in my house and alerts me when anything crosses the entrance of my driveway. This product works excellent and I am very happy with it- only wish I would have found it sooner!
