I correct the time every morning on this clock. It is very unreliable.
Clock is very easy to use. Just set the time zone, (press + when on DST screen), and the time and date set automatically.
please bring back the old ''hands'' clock. it is so simple to use !!!!!!
The clock always sets itself 3 hours earlier than my central daylight time????
The alarm volume is so low I that I am unable to depend on it to wake me up. One can easily sleep thru the alarm.
This clock is totally accurate to the second, but I wonder if a Brain Surgeon could program it? The display icons are microscopically small. If you have a microscope, you can read the display icons easily. If you misplace the directions, you may as well throw the clock out, because it is impossible to figure out how to set it to your time zone. If you don't mind the clock being in the wrong time zone, needing to shine a light on the display to see the time and being unable to tell if the alarm is on or off, it is a great clock.
Won't always sync in the living room (downstairs). But syncs fine in the bedroom (upstairs). In between syncs the clock is still very accurate (compared to online atomic time & cable TV clock).
My old 1970 Atomic Clock has long ext wire antenna for strong signal. I'm guessing most small atomic clocks will have similar syncing problems (without ext antenna).
I took the first clock back to be exchanged after about 2 weeks of ownership. The 2nd clock works beautifully. It receives radio updates properly and works in all rooms of my house. (The first clock would not receive signal reliably). [...]
Clock has a clear display and controls are easy to set from front. One major drawback is that clock is very location sensitive. It can receive sync signal from only one room in my house, which is not room where I want to use it. I had clock about 8 days and it successfully sync'd only twice. It cannnot receive the signal on 2nd story of my house. It can receive signal only from one room on 1 st floor of my house. A nice modification would be a short telescoping antenna. I have other atomic clocks including a wristwatch which have reliably received signal everyday for 5 years
