I use it a lot when I went to 1st year algebra. I find it very useful in many cases. It helped me a lot in homework and tests. Therefore, I did well and got recommended for accelerated geometry. Though it doesn't have much memory for games and other stuff that can be downloaded, but it is still useful for solving and graphing equations.

Its required to have one at my school during our senior year.
It works so well. and i can see why the school requires it.

this is a good cal and if you can't afford the ti-84 get it but otherwise just spend the small amount of extra $ and get the ti-84 or ti-84 plus the ti-83+ will work though high school no problem but the ti-84 is somthing you will want for (truly) advanced mathamatics. programing feature is worth learning (how to make is do a equation for you :) )

I use the calculator for my Algebra Honors class and I absolutely love it. It's hard to use at first, like the formulas, but its easy and quickly to learn.
