This is my second review of these speakers because I noticed my first one didn't show up. They are very poor sound quality. No way they should spec at 32hz.

I replaced a nice set of Polk bookshelf speakers with these when we went from a TV in an entertainment center to 52 inch LCD HD flat panel mounted on the wall. I purchased these with realistic expectations based on the other reviews here. I wasn?t prepared to spend $150 each for what [...] were selling. Off to Radio Shack. I was very surprised at the level of quality. The tweeters can be aimed. The crossover components are not visibly audiophile quality, however the sound is excellent without any changes from my equalizer. Most importantly, they sound great. Of course you will need a subwoofer as you will with any in-wall speaker. You should have a receiver that is capable of sending only the highs and mids to these speakers and the low notes to the subwoofer. I included a picture of the speakers painted to match the wall next to the TV. The left channel speaker is shown in the picture. I mounted the center speaker vertically under the TV. Look excellent, sound great. [$] each!!

They were easy to install. I install six speakers for 6.1 hometheater system. I used a Yamaha Receiver that i also got at RS. It sound great I was impress. I highly recommend these speakers for any used around the house. At first i was skeptical because the price of the speakers was so cheap i didn't think i was going to get good sound out of them but i was wrong.

OH MY GOD. What an awesome speaker. I am a sound buff and I was installing my daughters lcd on her wall, so I had to reimforce the wall where the LCD was going on. It turned out that the back side is her bathroom. She loves to listen to music in her bathroom but I hate that boom box to close to the water. So I purchased this speaker out of sheer last resort. I check speakers going for $150 and up and they did not compare to the sound and clairity that this speaker has. Please if you are in the market this is the way to go. I have since purchased 4 more and have installed them all over the house. Easey to install 10 minutes and you are done. For sure get these speakers you will not be dissapointed.

I bought these units for a surround sound system that I had designed for my new home. The sound is oustanding for the cost of these speakers. I definitely recommend them for most any application
