Very happy I made this choice. The Pros at Radio Shack sold me on this model after I made several trips to the store. other stores & the internet. I'm a retired senior citizen & need something easy to setup & use. Only problem so far has been trying copy data from my old desktop (Windows2000Pro) to this Vista Home Premium OS.

I got this laptop for my parents, because they'd been looking for a replacement internet browsing/light duty laptop. I work at radioshack, so when I saw this one and got to play around with the demo, I was greatly impressed with the capabilities for the price. I have a Dell xps 1530 for myself, so I know what I was getting, but this little compaq really hit their needs. It's fairly fast, comes with a decent amount of ram, and best of all, does have an actual video card (nvidia 8200m). While it's not what I personally would need, it's been wonderful for my technically challenged parents.

I went through 3 of these units and all of them had dead pixels in various locations on the different screens. Though they were pretty good about swapping through them until I was happy
