I bought this laptop after MUCH consideration and I LOVE it! I bought it mostly for school work and its amazing. Before when I used my husbands acer laptop, the online videos I would view would only provide audio with the occasional blips of video. It was very hard to follow. This laptop never had one issue! I'm not a serious gamer, but I have played a few games on this laptop and they are amazing! The keyboard isn't the most comfortable but if your at the appropriate height that you are supose to be while using a laptop, you'll be just fine. [...]

This computer works fine under a few conditions. the first is as any gamer would know you have to get rid of vista....problem solved thats really all you have to do to it and it works wonderful with online games. that is pretty much all i use it for and i havent had a problem with it.

I got this for college, and this is my first laptop, so I can't really compare it to any previous computers.
I use it to render 3d images, and it does a pretty good job with that. I haven't really tried any games on it, besides the Flight Simulator X demo, which runs at about 6FPS, so I don't think this is a really good gaming PC. The display is good, except that it sometimes displays too much shadow detail, which can make some photos look a little strange. One major problem I have with it is the fact that HP and Windows Vista together take up about 60Gb of hard drive space, so when you first get this PC, it really has somewhere around 100Gb of space, not 160. Also, it lacks a good DVD burning program like Roxio Creator, which my sister's 2 year old Compaq laptop has. The outside of the computer looks nice, but it gets finger prints on it all the time, so I still have the protective plastic sheet thingy on the outside of it. Other than that, I really don't have any problems with this computer. If you get an external hard drive, and you don't mind if your computer looks all slimy, this is a great computer.
I use the product to burn music cd's and to complete school work.

If for whatever reason you need 3gigs of RAM to check your email then this is the computer for you. The graphics chip is terrible and you can't replace it. This computer can't even run simple games smoothly. The only thing it's good for is watching movies, but you can buy a DVD player for a lot less.

this is an excellent laptop, i stuck XP in it and runs great for online games, videos, everything on it is wonderful except vista...
