Unlike alot of Vista based laptops, this laptop is fully downgradable (upgradable really) to XP service pack 2. All drivers needed can be found by googleing for "compaq F750 xp drivers". After changing to XP you'll notice about 25% better battery life and performance.

This is a great laptop especially for the price. I would like to add a word of warning that not all laptops can downgrade to XP. The person below/above stated that he will be switching to XP when he gets the time. He will want to check that the sound chipset is supported on XP as alot of new ones are not. just a word of warning.

Needed a cheap laptop for WOW "World of Warcraft" and when i seen the 7 series graphics compaired to the 6 series in the 730 model for CHEAPER!!! i was pumped! better graphics and cpu. and the ram is uber upgradable so i jumped on the first one we had in our store. Works great! removed all the utilities that came with it and used my own. Still thinking about removing vista but its alright for now. Will be changed to XP SP2 when I get time.
