I purchased this model because i owned a previous model from acer with a smaller screen and yet that was an excellent buy. This one is an even better buy with more ram, bigger screen and faster processor. Overall for the price, you can't go wrong with a brand that has a very good reputation too.

This computer is just what I needed. All I had to do was expand the ram to 4 gig and I was all set.

It runs great, it's quick, & the wifi is awesome on it.

It is a great value. I shopped around for about a month and found this one on line. It was the last one in the store. A girl tried to buy it but her credit did not go through for an aircard. Her loss was REALLY my gain!

 
keyboard nightmare

About every 3rd word I type either disappears altogether or is jumbled and displaced to another place on the screen. Makes sending an email or anything else a nightmare, because it requires so much editing.

I have only had this for about about 2 weeks and it is my first laptop. I have always bought Gateway desktops but decided to go with the Acer for a laptop based on price/value and reviews. So far, I have been extremely pleased with it. It is fast, I have no problems with Windows Vista and it is easy to use. Hooking up to my wireless network was simple and quick. I am mostly using it for web surfing and photo processing and storage and I think it is going to work out very nicely. Also, it was on sale for under[$] so I think it was a great deal compared to some of the big names. If your considering an Acer, give this a try...I decided to knowing that with Radioshack I can return it within 30 days if I'm not happy with it. At this point, I plan on keeping it!

I got this Laptop a few days ago and have been having fun with it. It contained everything I was looking for, from cam, software, to hardrive space @ 160 GB, speed and the rams at 2GB. Got a good deal here, for the price

I just upgraded to the Dual Core (which this laptop is) and this is amazing for the price. I couldn't recommend this more. The built in Webcom is an added bonus and has amazing video! I really like this much better than our Dell or Gateway!
