Customers most agreed on the following attributes:
it has been impossible to properly eject my memory devices. on top of that sometimes the devices just dissapear and lead to my computer crashing due to improper ejection.
it is not worth the trouble.
I agree with,"an utter piece of trash" and " dont buy this". Complete waste of tyme. Im soooo dissatisfied.
Hooked up a Kensington wireless mouse and a logitech quickcam, and the mouse immediately froze up. Each device works fine by itself on other USB ports, but not on this hub. I'm taking it back.
I use it to expand a Playstation 3 for Rock Band.
Most inexpensive usb hubs aren't powered, but depend on the usb connector back to the source. But that's only 500mA, at best. For something like Rock Band, you need 200-400mA for EACH output.
This hub works great.
I have used USB hub extender for several years. This is the first one that doesn't just plug in an work.....ugh
The problem started when I noticed a mouse hooked to the device was no longer working. Unplugging it and plugging it back in fixed the problem . . . for a little while. Alternating different USB devices through the ports, they all had the same issue. The device was working properly, but the hub was not transferring the signals to the computer.
If you purchase this product, you will be disappointed.
Does not work! I have build PC computers for years and I did everything I could to troubleshoot why it did not function. This item is useless.

Plugged it in and it worked perfectly. It immediately solved my problem with a video device that required too much power. No issues whatsoever.

Horrible for Intel-Based MACs. Freezes up my USB and devices attached are not seen by my new iMAC. Other hubs don't give me the hassle this thing has and it is going back. I do not recommend this product.
