No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I bought this adapter, it worked for 2 days and then all of a sudden doesn't work anymore. I called Belkin customer service and they wouldn't even help me to trouble shoot it. They just kept trying to blame it on my ISP or my router.. anything BUT them. It still doesn't work, and I unfortunately still have this peace of junk laying around. On the upside, it worked great for the 2 DAYS that it actually did work.
